Course Objectives Managing peoples’ performance is the most important part of a manager’s job. It’s also the most challenging!

Course Requirements And Certificates Delegates must meet two criteria to be eligible for an IIRME/ GW Certificate of Completion for a course: 1. Satisfactory attendance – delegates must attend all sessions of the course. Delegates who miss more than 2 hours of the course sessions will not be eligible to sit the course exam 2. Successful completion of the course assessment Delegates who do not meet the criteria will receive an IIRME Certificate of Attendance. If delegates have not attended all sessions, the Certificate will clearly state the number of hours attended.

Organisations depend on the performance of their people to achieve their strategic objectives. This requires managers to provide constant and constructive feedback, coach and reward employees appropriately, and even use disciplinary action when required. The course covers in a practice-based approach all the tools and techniques managers need to improve their team’s performance. More than half the course duration is dedicated to practice, role-play and simulation of performance development meetings. Delegates will learn to develop the performance of their people and increase motivation levels, by understanding and mastering coaching, feedback, counseling and many other performance development tools. While a lot of time and practice is devoted to the annual performance review, the course also lays groundwork for performance improvement and development throughout the rest of the year, not just annual evaluation.
