Course Requirements And Certificates Delegates must meet two criteria to be eligible for an IIRME/GW Certificate of Completion for a course: 1. Satisfactory attendance – delegates must attend all sessions of the course. Delegates who miss more than 2 hours of the course sessions will not be eligible to sit the course assessment. 2. Successful completion of the course assessment. Delegates who do not meet these criteria will receive an IIRME Certificate of Attendance. If delegates have not attended all sessions, the Certificate will clearly state the number of hours attended.

Meet Your Course Expert Director Ian R Thomson has been a consultant with IIR Middle East & customised training solutions since 2003. He has visited the region since 1987 when he was appointed a Director of Masaood John Brown Limited in Abu Dhabi. Ian set up his own company, Leadership International Limited in 1997 to provide a broad range of services to organisations seeking to make strategic and operational change. Today, he is a Director of the Scottish based company Never Mind the Buzz Words Limited, which provides consulting and learning programs, working with HRD departments in developing the analysis, designing the interventions, facilitating the programs and evaluating the results. HRD is at an exciting time in its development. Ian has been involved in learning and development for most of his professional life. Alongside his accounting career, he coached students at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland, developed a training program for Enterprise Wide Systems for ICI and was a lecturer in Leadership for the Open University. With Junior Chamber International, he took his first trainer the trainer course in 1992 and has delivered leadership programs and academies across the globe. Overall, Ian has worked in more than 35 countries including Angola, Australia, Brazil, Finland, India, Japan, Malaysia, Norway, Russia, South Africa and the USA. As a member of the American Society for Training and Development and the British Institute of Learning and Development, Ian seeks to be at the leading edge of thinking on both personal and organisational development.
