Dear It Is Written Friend I recently heard a story from Andreas, a 19-year-old man from Norway, who miraculously, found the truth of God’s Word. He was searching online for information about the book of Revelation when his search led him to It Is Written’s Revelation Today series. As Andreas watched the presentations, he opened his heart to God and began to dig deep into the Bible. After he watched the series several times, he contacted a seventh-day-keeping church that followed the teachings presented by the It Is Written series. He said, “Revelation Today provided me with Truth with a capital ’T.’ I was introduced to the concept of sola scriptura, which is so important and fundamental. It was like a golden door being opened.” It’s absolutely essential that we reach people with the gospel right where they are. And right now, people are online. Last year, 164.5 million Americans watched digital TV and that doesn’t include the rest of the world. This is an audience It Is Written must reach with the gospel and an exciting new development is making it possible for It Is Written to do just that. It Is Written can be at the forefront of this trend and that’s why we’re developing an It Is Written online Roku® channel that will play twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. The new It Is Written online channel will be available for viewing on computers, smart phones, tablets, digital TVs, and numerous other streaming services. The new It Is Written online channel will feature It Is Written TV programs, evangelistic series, and new content currently being developed by It Is Written. The channel will present classic George Vandeman presentations as well as additional programming that will communicate the Three Angels’ Messages to the world. Our goal is to have our online channel ready to launch by June. It’s going to take equipment and personnel to make this happen, and once we have our online channel up and running, there will be ongoing maintenance and hardware costs. We received quotes for this project ranging from $150,000 to $250,000. After studying this closely, however, we have found a way to launch this new channel for just under $100,000! God has led us in this exciting project. His blessing has enabled us to keep costs much lower than we were quoted by industry experts. And I am pleased to know that the costs to reach a massive, global, online audience are significantly lower using online streaming than traditional television. This is a new era in the history of It Is Written. We’re on the verge of establishing a 24/7, online channel that will reach the entire world with the good news of the gospel. Andreas, the young man in Norway who came to faith in Christ by watching It Is Written online, said that finding the truth of the Bible felt as if a golden door had been opened to him.
