SAVE TIME

With hot water available instantly, gone are the days of having to wait for the kettle to boil. Not only does this mean you can enjoy your cup of tea straight away, but having instant boiling water when cooking meals gets dinner on the table faster.

SAFE FOR THE FAMILY

The child lock keeps small hands from accidentally turning on the instant hot water.

ENERGY EFFICIENT

The stand by power usage is less than a 40W light bulb, and the insulated hot water tank reduces heating time and conserves water.

HYGIENIC, CLEAN WATER

The filter removes scale, magnesium, lead, protozone cysts and organic compound from your boiling hot water.

CONCEALED DESIGN

The 1.9 litre tank (approx. 11 cups of water) is concealed in a compact under sink system, saving you precious cupboard space. Only takes 3 minutes to heat up and can provide up to 38 litres of boiling water per hour.

QUICK INSTALLATION

Our system can be installed wherever there is mains water access. The initial set up should be done by a qualified plumber, who should have the unit installed and ready to use in under an hour.

The exhaust air box connects to the ducting, this can be ducted either to the left or the right, depending on preference of cabinet layout.

Connection to the motor by 150mm round ducting; exiting the motor with a flat duct of 222 x 89mm. The rotation of the motor fan helps push out the exhaust air through the flat duct.

From the motor you can choose to either duct externally out or have a Charcoal Filter with Recirculating Vent. Device for launching air circulation to be mounted at the base with the charcoal filter, purified air is redirected into the kitchen, eliminating the risk of moisture damage and mould in the cabinet and base. INSTALLATION

Installing your rangehood straight into your kitchen ceiling is a growing trend. With minimalism in mind, these types of rangehoods provide effective extraction power through targeted air extraction while taking up no additonal space.

NOISE CONTROL

Some models can be used with a remote motor to minimise noise. Ceiling rangehoods are ideal for kitchen islands. These can be positioned up to three metres in height, however the higher from the cooking area, the less effective they are.

THE ONLY VIABLE OPTION

Ceiling rangehoods are currently one of the only viable options when you want a freestanding oven and cooktop with a window behind but don’t have enough wall cavity space for a canopy/wall unit. Make sure to always discuss your extraction options with your kitchen designer before purchasing.

How far can I duct?

Ducting can make a significant impact to the performance of a Rangehood.

The maximum from the unit to the motor is 2 metres and from the motor to the external exit we recommend no more than 7 metres (the less the better). For every bend reduce the overall distance by 1 metre (For example with 2 bends this would then change the recommended total to 5m ducting).

All Flow-In products require payment before dispatch. For hassle free warranty on all appliances please supply customers name, phone number, address and email address with these orders. While every effort is made to check our products we recommend all products, measurements and colour matches be checked against the actual product to be installed.

Colour swatches are used as a guide only and we will not be responsible for any colour changes from one batch to another. Please ensure your customer is happy before installing.

Distributors, agents and retailers have no authority to bind Ikon to any decision regarding supply or warranty claim nor any products fitness for particular use. Title of goods will remain with Ikon® Commercial until paid for in full.

FREIGHT POLICY: All products except accessories are shipped free of charge to anywhere in New Zealand. Allow 2-3 working days for delivery outside of central Auckland and Hamilton. Please ensure all product is checked before signature is given to the courier. To submit a claim, please ensure you notify us within 48 hours of receipt of product.

RETURNS POLICY: All returns must be approved by customer services. Please contact us on 0800 83 83 84 for us to issue an RA number for return of The Product. Products returned without an RA number will not be accepted for credit and returned at your cost. There will be no returns for Kleenmaid and Ikon appliances unless special circumstances apply. In these cases a freight charge will apply on top of a restocking fee.

No returns will be accepted after 3 months from order date. Any product modified for the customer, cannot be returned.

Warranty starts from the date in which the product is invoiced. A copy of the invoice is required before warranty is undertaken.

3. Installation of The Product has occurred without regard to the installation instruction provided and full consideration is given to all regulatory codes covering electrical, gas and plumbing installations.

4. The responsibility for ensuring adequate installation and accessibility of the product rests with the installer. Ikon shall not be held liable for expenses resulting from installation practices that hinder access to the product.

5. That this warranty does not extend to: a) light globes and filters of any ages on rangehoods;

b) transportation or travelling costs involved in the repair when The Product is installed outside in rural areas.

c) damage to the ceramic glass caused by liquid or solid spillover, lack of maintenance or impact; d) damage to surface coatings caused by cleaning or maintenance, using products not recommended by the owners handbook;

e) defects caused by normal wear and tear, accident, negligence, alteration or misuse, and “act of God”

f) The Product is not in the possession of the original Consumer;

g) The Product has been dismantled, repaired or serviced by anyone other than an authorised Ikon service person.

6. All stainless steel sinks must be bonded to the general mass of earth. In situations where it is not required for electrical compliance it must be done for the purpose of equipotential bonding.

7. A claim under this warranty is not notified in writing to Ikon within a reasonable period after the defect in the Product would have become apparent to a reasonable person.

If a service call is required and it is not a result of either faulty materials or workmanship, then Ikon or the service agent will charge the customer directly for the service call out. All warranties must go through the approved warranty process. No warranty claims may be expressed or implied by any party other than the warranty claims handler from Ikon.

Any claim under this warranty must be made in writing to Ikon (info@ikon.nz) and must be supported by reasonable evidence of the date of original purchase of The Product and suspected defects in The Product must be made available for inspection by Ikon or it’s authorised representatives.

Nothing in this product warranty shall override or negate any statutory right or remedy that may be available to The Consumer under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, except where The Consumer has acquired product for the purposes of business or commercial use.

Official decisions will always be made in writing once a claim is fully investigated. Please refer to our website for latest updates and warranty conditions.

8. All Ikon products dispatched will have manuals and installation instructions included, please make sure these are read and retained. If these are missing from your product please contact your supplier/installer or download these from our website.
