2010 SWC have come and gone and placed South Africa squarely on the world stage again. Congratulations to every proud South African for flying our flag and representing our country as host!
THE BAFOKENG MASTERPLAN grew
i-Line Films was commissioned to document both the event and the spectators for various companies. Our personnel were granted FULL FIFA ACCREDITATION! This is something that we are extremely proud of and says a lot about the ethical way we conduct business.
THE ROYAL BAFOKENG commissioned us to cover the six awesome SWC matches that were played at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium. A task made easy by both the event organizers and spirited atmosphere created in and around the stadium by the locals and visitors. It is the only community-owned 2010 stadium in South Africa, and the first stadium officially opened for the FIFA Confederations Cup and FIFA 2010 World Cup.
SANDOWN TOURS & INCENTIVES called on us to document two of the international tours. Our crews accompanied the Brazilian COLGATE group as well as a contingent from SANTANDER Bank group. It’s great to work on the international market!
from clear visualizations into tangible reality as the ROYAL BAFOKENG STADIUM, the LEBONE 2 SCHOOL and the ROYAL MARANG HOTEL & SPORT CAMPUS germinated from canvas to tangible reality to host the English team during 2010 SWC. The 5-star campus is situated at 1,250m above sea level equipped with cuttingedge equipment and top-class gym and medical facilities, football pitches and various other sport fields and courts. The MasterPlan originates from the office of Kgosi Molotlegi and seeks prolonged progress not only for the Bafokeng and the NW Province but also for the whole of South Africa.
We also assisted the ROYAL
BAFOKENG INSTITUTE & ADMINISTRATION by providing audio visual coverage of their bi-annual Kgotha Kgothe (Mass meeting,) the prestigious Royal Bafokeng Awards Ceremony and Supreme Council deliberations in 2010. They are an African community resolute to achieve sustainable development objectives without sacrificing their heritage and traditions and together with

the Royal Bafokeng’s various business entities we worked in unison to expand community prosperity.
THE FIDELITY SERVICES GROUP is the largest security group of companies in South Africa, employing some 30 000 people.
SARENS SA is still the largest and most versatile heavy transport and lifting companies in the world, moving heavy cargo by land and sea. We were honoured to document (on both video and photos) the erection of a support structure at the South Deep Twin Shaft where the Demag Crane played a pivotal part in lifting and securing of the steel structure. The 720 ton Demag crane is equipped with a lifting height of 140 meters. i-Line Films is also tasked with producing the printed media to assist in their marketing campaigns. They again called on our photographers to provide digital images of the inauguration of their new offices at Robertville for publication in the media, corporate magazines and for use on their website.
CALABASH & THE TRANSNET FOUNDATION. Calabash was entrusted with TRANSNET’s special initiatives aimed at improving the quality of education in the critical areas of Mathematics, Science, Information Technology, Languages and Life Skills. CALABASH appointed i-Line Films to trace the process and deliver video productions on the progression and success of the various initiatives.
CHUBB (UTC) again returned to our studios for another video to assist in the training and security of their employees. This training programme deals with the arrest situation and the Criminal Procedures Acts governing such circumstances. These videos have proven to be invaluable and have successfully contributed to saving the lives of CHUBB reaction officers, their clients and valuable property.
CSIR. Communications tasked us throughout 2010 to take photographs of new scientific discoveries for successful communication through magazines, press releases and internet applications. We were then commissioned to produce the video to promote their continued Excellence Awards programme. The video featured simple yet powerful 3D animation. Then DEFENCE, PEACE, SAFETY & SECURITY called on us for a

series of 6 videos which were included in their Multi-Media developments.

DENEL CENTRE FOR LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT tasked us to produce their promotion and induction video. The Centre provides training mostly for Aircraft Mechanics, where provision is made to develop the individual to a level where a license from the South African Civil Aviation Authority could be issued. Their name may soon change to DENEL TECHNICAL ACADEMY.
GIRLS FROM OUR BLOCK called on us to facilitate the ABI long service awards held at ABI HQ in Santon. Our photographer assisted with digital images of the glamorous event. GFOB offers, amongst others, brand management, marketing, promotions and project management.
SITA launched their Vuselela project after months of preparation and hard work. SITA and JFOUCHE MULTI-MEDIA recruited us to produce the launch video to inform the entities involved in the project’s progress. SITA followed this up with GOVTECH 2010 and we were again commissioned to produce the promotion video.
DWF ADVERTISING is a well established agency and they requested iLine Films’ skilled photographers to capture high resolution images for LAFARGE. This is the second time that we were able to assist them with their high profile customer’s digital needs.
PORTICO FINANCIAL SERVICES is
SACCESS. Again we go international as iLine Films was selected by the Italian based APRE to produce a video programme on their SACCESS drive. SAccess aims at serving EU researchers by identifying and highlighting the available opportunities for research collaboration through participation in South Africa's national research and innovation programmes. The video was filmed at
the leader in financial planning and solutions. Portico has shown considerable growth for several consecutive years and is now building on their broadcast foundation. We were implicated to produce a series for the national broadcaster, KYKNET. Portico’s series is presented by Anria van Heerden and supplies quick tips on sound financial management. RAND BUILDING HYDRAULICS specialise in the design manufacture and installation of hydraulic equipment and systems. They supply, amongst others, hydraulic adaptors, hydraulic hoses and hose fittings, hydraulic filters and tank mounted accessories. i-Line Films was called to their facilities to photograph their vast arrangement of products and accessories. The images serve on the RBH website and in their product catalogues.
SKILLS DEVELOPMENT: Our two Phokeng students, Lebo and Patricia completed their five year skills development programme and will be accommodated to assist their communities with high quality video production and photography. Other students were accommodated on shorter terms throughout 2010 and a new student was introduced for a 3 year programme in January 2011. TORTURED SOULS our documentary AQS LIQUID TRANSFER needed i-Line to created product logos for their numerous new brands. This continuous assignment has rendered almost a dozen companies’ logo designs and follows on the digital image capturing campaign for product pamphlet designs. Two more MUSIC VIDEOS were produced in 2010. Waldo Greeff won the Huisgenoot lyric writer competition and we assisted in producing his own music video called “Alleen”. The talented Adriaan Polson can be seen as a regular in local musicals and called on us to assist in his new venture. His video is named “Anything.“ View the videos at

This doccie deals with the soul of the serial killer and looks at the atmosphere which stimulates the growth of the tortured soul. Profilers such as Dr. Micki Pistorius, the first profiler of the SAPS, give her expert opinion on the subject. i-Line Films compiled and produced a new series of digital magazines on the art of directing to assist aspiring film makers in this discipline.
