Give to Parent Fund The PFPO provides ongoing communications, periodic updates, and events that are designed to help families find an appropriate level of involvement in their student’s collegiate career. In short, our goal is the same as that of parents and families: to see students succeed. You can assist us in our mission by making a gift to the Parent Fund.

Our Services • Website with program information and campus news • Informational newsletter each semester, and biweekly E-Updates • Family-centered programs and events • Knowledgeable staff who work with you to find the answers and information you need • Opportunity to donate to programs and events that promote the growth, development, safety, and well-being of all U of I students through the Parent Fund • Social media groups especially for families of U of I students

Gifts to the Parent Fund will... • Support programs and events that offer non-alcoholic alternatives, such as Illinites • Enhance efforts to create an inclusive environment supportive of diversity • Encourage student development and growth through educational, cultural, and professional programming • Enrich family and parent involvement, education, and learning opportunities

Volunteer Volunteers are key to the success of our programs. You can help ease the transition to college and welcome new University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign families to campus. Here are some ways you can get involved:

About Us The Illini Union Parent and Family Programs Office (PFPO) is here to help parents and families be effective coaches and mentors to their students. The PFPO works collaboratively with the Moms and Dads Associations to provide programs, communications, and support for families.

Did you know? When a student accepts admission to Illinois, their families automatically become members of the Moms and Dads Associations. There are no dues! Jump in and take advantage of a variety of volunteer opportunities!

• Give your contact info to local high schools for future U of I families to call • Host a get-together for U of I families in your local community • Arrange carpools for students from your area • Work with area families to arrange send-off parties or care packages for your students • Encourage other families to volunteer
