In 2021, University of Illinois Extension continued to make a difference in our DuPage, Kane, and Kendall county communities:
- We provided more than 930 educational programs, videos, podcasts, and blogs.
- Our volunteers gave time to their local communities valued at nearly $1.16 million.
- Master Gardener projects donated 19,924 pounds of fresh produce, valued at $28,691, to local food pantries.
- Staff and volunteers guided and encouraged 669 4-H members, and reached hundreds of other community youth with important life skills.
- Our SNAP-Education, health, and wellness programs directly reached more than 12,000 people.
- The local tri-county team has more than 240 community partnerships.
