Martha?s Vineyard Construction Company was founded in 1971 by Colin Whyte? an aviator and surfer with a military school background and a degree from Brown University. The company?s first project was constructing a trailer large and sturdy enough to move the cabin Colin lived in. From such humble beginnings was born one of today?s most respected, sought after, and successful building companies on Martha?s Vineyard. MVCC is known for offering construction management?s most coveted trio: exceptional quality, sophisticated business administration, and unrivaled process management. Run by Colin and his family since its founding, MVCC delivers a consistently superior product, examples of which dot every corner of the Island. Colin continues to assist in leading the enterprise, which is now run by his daughters, Alison and Hilary. For more information, visit marthasvineyardconstruction.com.

Below are some of the best loved public and private beaches. Norton Point

This shoreline previously connected Left Fork Beach with Wasque and Chappaquiddick. Today this picturesque island beach destination is also popular for allowing over- sand driving with a permit.

Towns
The affluent summer colony of Martha?s Vineyard is located seven miles off the coast of Cape Cod in Massachusetts. Here, scenic beauty abounds from unique beaches and inspiring vistas to green acres of farmland and majestic cliffs. The Island is divided into six towns, each with their own unique features and special attractions for every mood. Each one is well worth exploring! Edgartown
Aquinnah
A delightful mix of old world charm and open spaces, Edgartown was originally settled by whaling captains and retains much of its historic architecture. Many formerly private homes have been converted into one- of- a- kind inns, shops, and restaurants.
Aquinnah is remote and quiet with breathtaking scenery including The Aquinnah Cliffs, one of Martha?s Vineyard?s most- visited tourist spots. These epic clay cliffs were carved by glaciers millions of years ago and are worth the trek. www.aquinnah- ma.gov

Oak Bluffs
Chilmark
Oak Bluffs is eclectic, vibrant, diverse and fun. It is one of the island?s principal points of arrival for summer tourists and is noted for its "gingerbread cottages," and other well- preserved mid- to- late nineteenth century buildings.
This special town features rolling hills, ancient stone walls, farms, breathtaking ocean scenery, and amazing sunsets over the historic Menemsha harbor. Visitors and residents of Chilmark enjoy waterfront views of the Atlantic Ocean, pristine coastal ponds, and beaches.

Vineyard Haven
West Tisbury
Vineyard Haven, in the town of Tisbury, is the Island?s year- round community and a beautiful working harbor village. It is also home to a fun and diverse Cultural District with numerous artisans and creative industry businesses.
West Tisbury is the farming community of Martha?s Vineyard and long- time agricultural heartland of the island. West Tisbury is mostly rural and home to many ponds and over half of the Manuel F. Correllus State Forest.
