Founded by respected Aboriginal businesswoman, Karen West, KLW Business Solutions services Kununurra and the greater Kimberley region, and has the capacity to work remotely throughout Australia. Qualified and highly experienced in the business sector, Karen is passionate about sharing her expertise with individuals and small business clients. Offering a wide range of services, including business consulting, HR, training, admin and bookkeeping, KLW Business Solutions is a trusted and reliable choice.
About Karen West Karen West’s Aboriginal heritage is the Palawa people – the Indigenous community of Tasmania. Since leaving the ‘Apple Isle’, Karen has worked in remote and Indigenous communities around Australia. Now, she calls the Kimberley home. During her impressive career, which includes 10 years as a Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Karen has worked in a variety of businessrelated roles. Having often been asked to help people with their various business and training issues, she decided to establish KLW Business Solutions, to capitalize on her strengths and support her local community. Possessing a strong sense of fairness and ‘what’s right,’ she also wished to provide an alternative to the consultancy businesses she had come across over the years that treated Indigenous clients differently – not always working in their best interests. KLW Business Solutions brings cultural understanding to every situation and values and respects all people. Backed by relevant qualifications, Karen West is well placed to assist individuals and small businesses to improve all aspects of their business performance.
