Gadgets form an integral part of our lives. They are essentially small tools or machines intended to perform a specific function. Some of them make our lives easier, faster and more stylish. With the evolution of modern age, more and more gadgets see the light, and we found some of the coolest ones to share with you. The main concept was to find something easy to use and transfer, minimal and useful.

The ‘Piece of Time’ is a new minimal timepiece, which will help you to eliminate the need of checking your schedule on your smartphone. Designed by Ben Koros, the small device works by being attached to your body as a pendant, a clip or a bracelet. It alerts you when your next task or appointment is ready to be completed. It has a countdown LED indicators that help you to know how much time you have left.

‘Piece of Time’ helps you be organised and in schedule without distracting you from what you are doing or losing time checking your smartphone.

WYREX, WIRELESS MULTI-DEVICE CHARGERS

Wyrex is the ultimate way to charge multiple devices simultaneously. Through a magnetic induction technology ‘Qi’, on Wyrex we can charge devices (smartphones, smartwatches and earphones) wirelessly. Wyrex is a great time saver as it is 30% faster compared with other wireless chargers. You can power up both Android and iOS devices, Apple Watches and AirPods.

The body of Wyrex is made of plastic, with subtle grooves on the front that indicate where devices can be placed to charge. Below the plastic body, there are four coins, each one for each of the four devices. A great opportunity to save money and a quick charge up to four devices at the same time.

ZUTA, THE ROBOTIC POCKET PRINTER

The portable pocket robotic printer, which knows how to make our lives easier. In other words, ZUtA is a small robot, that runs across the paper and prints while doing so. It’s so small that it can fit on a hand palm and also it can print from your phone on any paper size. ZUtA has a rechargeable battery with an on/off switch and it can be charged with a USB connection. The idea of this small robotic printer was born in 2013 and after the Kickstarter campaign on the 2014, the first Kickstarter orders were placed in 2015.

Every home requires a vacuum cleaner, which is always saved in storage to not take much space at home. A handheld vacuum cleaner is much useful rather than the big ones. Now with the conceptual and stylish ‘Drip’ handheld vacuum cleaner comes to change our opinion of ugly and useless vacuums. ‘Drip’ has designed to change the image of ugliness with its sculptural aesthetic that oozes elegance. Its design transforms the essential appliance into a focal point in the home and it can be left out of the storage without looking out of place. In few words, it can be fitted in every room at home. ‘Drip’ is designed by Christoph Andrejcic.

COZMO, THE TINY TOY ROBOT BY ANKI

Its name is Cozmo, a clever little robot with a mind and heart of its own, by Anki. A great company to hangout and have fun with. His personality will amaze you. Cozmo has its own real emotions in response to his environment. He can interact with the world around him and make decisions based on his mood. Cozmo’s functions are condensed into simple drag and drop blocks that are easy to string together, he is programmed to be accessible enough for anyone to enjoy.

Don’t get surprised if you see him exploring the environment, he will be because this is his nature and he always remember and reacts to it. Right on the screen you might see his emotions, through his two small eyes. If he plays, he always like to win.

It comes with his own charger and 3 Power Cubes and it requires a free application and the processing power of your compatible smartphones or tablet.

ASPREY, COCKTAIL SHAKER

If you are a big fan of cocktails and looking for an extra cool gadget that will help you shake your magic recipes, then Asprey is what you are looking for. This 29cm-tall hallmarked sterling-silver shaker, with bayonetfit lid and red enamel detail on the fins, has a one-litre capacity. Asprey is influenced by early 20 th Century design. The Rocket Cocktail Shaker is made in London workshops and it needs a kind of gentle cleaning with a silver cloth wiping light surface marks.

ALIGN PEN BY BEYOND OBJECT

A minimal align pen that opens and closes in an asymmetric shape. The founders of the pen from the London-based studio (Hanhsi Chen and Shikai Tseng) gave this function an asymmetric shape, explaining how the human mind tends to organise information. The ‘align pen’ is divided into three parts, with the middle section misaligned with the rest of the shaft – dislocated with a twist – when it is closed. Furthermore, it offers a pleasant and practical grip. The entire material used to manufacture the pen is from aerospace grade aluminium. The inner elements include gears made out of brass, a material used in many clockwork mechanisms. The ‘align pen’ comes in a matte black or matte silver finish and in a mini version as well, composed of two sections rather than three.
