ferroluar Aquatic Life Interactive Exhibition
Aquatic Life is a unique underwater world. It is a collection of 17 pieces that exemplifies the philosophy of Ferroluar: create with recycled materials and give a second life to scrap. The entry in this underwater world is through a giant shark jaw. Onlookers gasp as they stroll among this special fauna and admire the contrast of the materials used to the feeling of actually transmitting some as organic movements. The sound of the sea and gnashing of scrap is heard. All beasts work with mechanisms that are activated by motion sensors, so that the public interacts directly with the pieces. A man-machine language that still makes most exciting world of Aquatic Life is created.
Aquatic Life consists of 17 pieces of different sizes and degrees of interactivity. The pieces are:
MARINE SNAIL
The marine snail is a small piece of the collection. It is placed on a fixed platform. It has a motion sensor and moves when someone approaches. DIMENSIONS: 1.200 x 800 x 1.000 mm LIGHTING: External FEEDING: Batteries. Recharge each day.
HERMIT CRAB
Hermit crab is another small piece of the exhibition. It is placed in a pedestal where it moves freely without being hooked anywhere. Bring a motion sensor which is triggered when someone passes his hand over. DIMENSIOS: 1.000 x 1.000 x 1.000 mm LIGHTING: External, from the upper position. FEEDING: Batteries. Recharge each day
SEA HORSE
The seahorse is placed on a pedestal, which is connected to the mains (220v.). When someone is placed before the horse moves its tail up and down.
DIMENSIONS: 1.500 x 800 x 600 mm LIGHTING: External FEEDING: Net 220v.
CRAB
The crab rotates about a fixed axis. Two motion sensors triggerthe legs and claws. DIMENSIONS: 2.000 x 2.000 x 600 mm LIGHTING: External.
BLOWFISH
The blowfish is an attraction with a mechanical interaction. To inflate it, you have to use a bicycle pump placed just ahead. The fish swells and when it reaches a maximum just deflates. DIMENSIONS: 1.700 x 1.000 x 900 mm LIGHTING: External FEEDING: Net 220v.
