Ominousness of Nature • • • •
Nature’s breath Larger than life Uncontrollable Immense power
Awareness Fear Acceptance Relief
A distinct awareness of the immense power that nature possesses that human beings can never fully comprehend. An innate fear for its vastness in oceans, space, valleys and the tectonic plates that can shift countries. The fear of being microscopic and have your existence be meaningless. A certain relief and release in accepting all this.

TITLE & ABSTRACT
RISING TENSION Rising Tension was inspired by the politicising of news, online disinformation and social injustices around the world. It has caused heightened tensions among people fragmented by different ideals resulting in protests and riots in different parts of the world (eg. Anti-vax/Antimask protest in the US. HK v China. BLM). It starts when someone is exposed to disinformation online (ie. flat earth), cyber bullying or discrimination. This leads to feelings of mistreatment, indignation within society and the hate against the proverbial “other”. The negative noises within society festers and amplifies into a complex mixture of emotions from anger, fear, disappointment, and disgust. After a struggle to escape, they eventually break free, but the resentment brews deep within without a end in sight. DA 9012 MEDIA ART NEXUS
