Step 1: is always, wash glassware thoroughly in warm water and dry with a lint free cloth. Step 2: Position glass on the banding wheel and load the 1 inch wide brush with the feature colour and side load with the pearl white or silver. Position the brush with the silver edge down and band. Re – load the brush in the same manner and position the brush with the silver edge up and overlapping the first band and blend into each other. This creates a beautiful smooth transition of colour. Step 3: Still working on the same piece load the size 6 round brush, and quickly paint in a mass of small random flowers overlapping each other and the banding. Repeat across all pieces. Step 4: Position on the banding wheel and load the long round brush. Band a thin line around any bases or rims. Allow to dry. Step 5: Using an outlining bottle with a colour to compliment your choice of glitter. Have ready glitter, large container, dusting brush and teaspoon. Position and complete any writing, working quickly to sprinkle glitter on while paint is still wet. Allow to dry for 10 minutes before dusting any excess glitter off. Step 6: No further drying required and can go straight into the oven at 150C for 30 minutes. Allow to cool before removing from the oven. Always ensure good ventilation. Step 7: With the foil glue randomly outline the flowers on each glass and allow to dry clear. Cut a strip of foil and gently press over glue to finish.

It’s the only way to decorate glass The paints I recommend are dishwasher safe if you have followed the manufacturer’s instructions accurately and your project is completed using only that medium. In a Spin Nique’s Way™ Projects include the use of glitter, diamantes and foil combined with the qualities of the paints and by following the instructions a very durable hand wash finish is achieved. Recommended drying and oven times do vary between manufacturers. Each In a Spin Nique’s Way project offers a common baking instruction suitable for achieving a high level of durability.
