NEWS FROM
Your LBC
JANUARY 2021 Celebrating 40 years of Your LBC! Happy New Year! We continue to be here for you and can't wait to return to a packed theater with live music, or a school show with giddy children experiencing their first live performance. As we wait for that time to come, we're continuing to gather virtually; offering performances, programs, and events for all ages to support the community where we are right now. 2021 has additional meaning to the Luther Burbank Center, marking 40 years that we have been a part of the fabric of Sonoma County! In 1981 the Santa Rosa plaza was still under construction, the Historic Post Office (now the Museum of Sonoma County) had just been placed in its new location, and with the help of twelve visionaries, the LBC opened its doors to the public with debut performances by the Santa Rosa Symphony and performing artists such as Anne Murray and Steve Allen. Over the years, with your support, we have flourished and provided award winning performances and educational programming. You have made the LBC what it is today, and you will help shape us as we move forward. We'll be celebrating all year long, sharing and collecting stories; we invite you to join us!
