I was very fortunate to get to know Diana Curtin as a classmate in the Chamber’s Leadership Santa Rosa Program in 2011. The program spiked my interest in civic and community involvement, so when asked to join the Chop’s Teen Club Board, I jumped at the chance. For me Chop’s encapsulates so many youth issues close to my heart; the importance of a safe and nurturing place where young people can be engaged, get involved, grow, thrive and understand their potential. The club provided all these things for my own son, and made a very positive impact on him directly. As a board member I am invigorated to be part of such a dynamic group of people collectively Jessica Adams making a difference in the lives of Vintners Inn/ John Ash & Co. Santa Rosa’s youth. Chop’s is a jewel, a treasure for our kids and our community -- every day it’s full of kids who are active, engaged, happy, and involved. Chop’s is a place where kids are safe, productive and participate in a myriad of activities - - from creating music and art to playing sports, learning job skills, or just being with friends in a great environment. For me, it’s an honor to serve a non-profit that provides real, everyday benefit in the lives of so many young people. Our board is blessed with the talents and dedication of some of the finest and most caring folks in our county. The hard-working Chop’s staff mirrors this dedication with their hard work to provide a safe, productive environment where kids take advantage of the best activities, workshops and workforce readiness programs available. It’s easy to love Chop’s! Max has been an active & contributing member on the Chop’s Board of Directors since January 2012
