Bay Street Theatre has announced the 2013 Comedy Club lineup. The fun begins in June and will continue on most Monday nights at 8 PM through August. Tickets are $62 for members or $69 for non members excluding The All Star Comedy Showcase, which is $15 in advance and $25 on the day of the event. All tickets are available online at www. baystreet.org or by stopping by or calling the Box Office at 631-7259500. The Comedy Club kicks off 2013 with the return of Ralphie May June 3. Voted one of Variety’s "10 Comics to Watch" in 2008, May has filmed a record-setting three separate onehour Comedy Central specials in the past three consecutive years, all of which were among the network's most highly-rated. Jim Breuer returns to complete the Comedy Club on June 10. A standup comedian since his high school days at Valley Stream Central High School on Long Island, Breuer worked in comedy clubs around the country for several years before deciding to become a regular on the New York comedy club circuit. In 1995, Jim joined NBC's "Saturday Night Live" becoming best known for his original character "Goat Boy" and his impression of actor Joe Pesci. After a four-year stint on SNL, Jim starred in the movie Half Baked alongside Dave Chappelle. The All Star Comedy Showcase kicks off on June 17, hosted by Joseph Vecsey and will feature the hottest rising stars from the stand up scene with the comedy of Kenny Garcia, Vic Henley, Chris Clarke and Mark Riccadonna. On July 8, see the hilarious Dom Irrera. Irrera has been nominated six times for an American C o m e d y Aw a r d . He has appeared on Fox’s "Damon," starring Damon Wayans; "Seinfeld," "Becker," "Everybody Loves Raymond" and "King of Queens." He was also part of the Emmy-winning cast of Nickelodeon’s "Back To The
Barnyard," where he played "Duke" the sheepdog. Paul Reiser comes to the Comedy Club on July 15. You know him as Paul Buchanan from NBC’s "Mad About You" where he starred with Helen Hunt, which garnered him Emmy, Golden Globe, American Comedy Award and Screen Actors Guild nominations for Best Actor in a Comedy Series. D a v i d B r e n n e r, s t a n d - u p comedian, a u t h o r, a n d founder and creator of funnydeli.com retur ns to the C om e dy C l u b on July 22. Recognized as a political pundit who can be seen regularly on television news shows, Brenner regularly finds humor in current events. Amy Schumer takes the stage on August 12. Schumer is quickly becoming the hottest star in the world of comedy, with her blend of what seems outwardly wholesome, but verbally edgy comedy. Schumer made her network debut on NBC’s "Last Comic Standing" and soon after costarred on "30 Rock." Paula Pondstone returns to the Comedy Club on August 19. Poundstone is legendary for her ability to interact spontaneously with audience members in conversations that garner riotous laughter. A donation to Bay Street of $75 or more qualifies you as a member for Comedy Club member tickets. Call 631-725-0818 or log on to www.baystreet.org to become a member.

Todays Birthday: Alec Baldwin, 1958 He may have been one of the battling Baldwin brothers growing up in Massapequa, but he’s a proud Bonacker now. The controversial actor/comedian spends considerable time at his Amagansett mansion, and has been a generous benefactor to the local arts community. Baldwin cut his teeth as a dramatic actor – he became a star for his role in The Hunt For Red October – but has since become one of the funniest men in show business. He has earned numerous Emmys, Golden Globes and Screen Actor Guild awards for playing Jack Donaghy on “30 Rock” and has become a staple on TV doing ads for Capital One Bank. Baldwin is noted for his fiery temper – he’s publicly insulted an airline stewardess, a Starbucks barista, and a New York Post reporter and clashed with co-stars, his ex-wife, and even his daughter on occasion. Those outbursts sometimes overshadow his generosity, his commitment to the environment, and his big heart – recently he gave a Rhode Island High School chess team money so players could attend a national tournament. ARIES (Mar. 20 - Apr. 20) The energy is all aligned in your favor this week, so do what you can to bring things together into a cohesive whole. Over analyzing will create inertia and that could have you miss this great opportunity. TAURUS (Apr. 20 - May 21) Pull back and see the big picture. Everything will make more sense if you see things from the outside. Getting lost in the details could make you crazy, so take a breath and take an overview. GEMINI (May 21 - June 22) This is the perfect time for you to take a look at your relationships and become clear about who is really in your tribe and who you may need to pull back from. Trust your intuition. CANCER (June 22 - July 23) The magic of words is on your side right now. So, speak your mind and know there has never been a better time for you to understand what you want to say and for others to understand you. LEO (July 23 - Aug. 23) Hang out with a Cancerian and do some good deep talking and thinking. There is magic in the air all around you, see if you can tap into it by paying attention to the whispers of the Universe. VIRGO (Aug. 23 - Sept. 23) You really do need your sense of humor right now. Don’t hold too tightly to things because they really are going to change and a few months or maybe weeks from now you’ll wonder what you were so worried about. LIBRA (Sept. 23 - Oct. 23) It is
all good. See things from a win/ win perspective and do your best to remember that things aren’t all black and white. All paths lead to Rome. Trust the journey. SCORPIO (Oct. 23 - Nov. 22) Be your authentic self and take guilt out of the equation. The best you will be for those around you is your authentic self, so resist duty and obligation and be you.

6 Souls (R) Julianna Moore plays a grieving widow who becomes entangled with a psychiatric patient with multiple identities. Jonathan Rhys-Meyers is suitably creepy as the patient, but the film is so clichéridden that it collapses under its own creepiness.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22 - Dec. 21) You will have the strength to survive all that is going on. Take whatever alone time you need to rejuvenate and then face the day. You are strong and there is nothing you cannot move through right now. CAPRICORN (Dec. 21 - Jan. 20) Speak clearly and try to give special attention to the way you are saying things rather than what you are saying. Your style may put some people off right now, so change it up. AQUARIUS (Jan. 20 - Feb. 19) No obsessing. It would be easy right now to allow the crazy person in your head (which we all have) to take the lead and this will not benefit you in the end. Take a breath and when you feel that obsessive energy, make a different choice. PISCES (Feb. 19 - Mar. 20) Be creative. Do something bold and big and dramatic, even. I know this isn’t your usual way of doing things, but right now the energy is big for you. You can have a big impact if you give yourself permission to be big! New On DVD
Trance (R) Danny Boyle (Slumdog Millionaire) has come up with a new twist on what at first glance is a typical heist movie. It’s complex and absorbing, but wordy and, at times, and muddled. Stay with it.
Janet Russell
Skyfall The umpteenth James Bond movie begins with 007 dying. Don’t worry, though, he comes back and there is hell to pay. Daniel Craig brings a vulnerability to the role, and director Sam Mendes has a field day with a huge budget and a cavalcade of A-listers including Javier Bardem as a lusciously evil foil. Ralph Fiennes and Naomie Harris co-star. Judi Dench returns as “M.” Don’t miss it.
Now Playing The Place Beyond The Pines (R) The first “important” film of the year lives up to its advance notices, thanks to the powerful performances of Ryan Gosling and Bradley Cooper. Gosling, who plays a biker who consciously decides to commit a crime to support his child, gives an Oscar-worthy performance. Cooper plays the cop looking to bring him to justice with equal aplomb. Director Derek Cianfrance (Blue Valentine) has fashioned a deeply emotional, tension filled drama that resonates on several levels.
