Enough of the doom and gloom, it’s time to get back to basics. This is the perfect opportunity to Re-assess what’s important, Redefine your core business, and Re-engage – with skills, colleagues and the greater community. That thing we do – you know, design – what’s it all about again? In recent years, things have been so hectic, who’s really had the time (or motivation) to look back on what’s been done, take stock and take the learned lessons into the future? This Saturday in Design, we’re ticking off all the important stuff, and you’re invited to do the same. The latest products? Check. The best brands? Check. Innovation in The Project? Check and check. And as usual, we’ll have some fun doing it.

‘Sense’
The Project There’s a ‘sense’ of uncertainty, a change in the air. But rather than entertain the fear that has pervaded wider society, the design world embraces this period of change as an opportunity... The response to the inaugural edition of The Project last year was overwhelmingly positive, and a number of Saturday in Design showrooms have signed up for round two in 2009. This year’s partnerships include a host of creatives from the fields of design, architecture and art, so make sure you get around and see as many creative collaborations as possible. This year, participants were given a keyword they could use for inspiration. Will their interpretations ignite your ‘senses’? Read on for a teaser of what’s in store for the project 2009...
