Saturday in Design poses an opportunity to take stock of new developments, explore opportunities, and engage with one another in real and memorable ways. SiD is a reflection of both local and global creative industries. It’s where we take elements from international shores, and respond to – and reinterpret – those influences in a unique Australian way. This year’s event promises to be as exciting as ever, and we’re looking forward to what (and who) this year’s edition will bring. We’ve got all the key ingredients – new products fresh from Milan Furniture Fair 2010, creative input from your design industry in The Project and... all of you! On a local level, a subtle but very exciting shift is happening in design hubs around the city. Our four major design precincts in Melbourne capture the diverse faces of our design community, and we encourage you to connect and creatively engage with them all. We’ll see you out there!
