2. KEY FINDINGS From 2007 to 2014, EU radio receiver production showed mixed dynamics, ultimately falling from 32,716 thousand units in 2007 to 24,385 thousand units in 2014. It dropped with a CAGR of -4.1% over the period under review. In value terms, EU radio receiver production decreased to 1,944 million EUR in 2014, falling by -7.0% annually. The countries with the largest production of radio receivers in absolute volumes were Portugal (7,659 thousand units) and Denmark (4,579 thousand units). From 2007 to 2014, Denmark had the highest growth rates of production, with a CAGR of +70.9%. Portugal showed negative dynamics dropping by -2.5% over the last five years. Portugal dominated in EU radio receiver production and trade. In 2014, it exported 46% of its total radio receiver output. Of this amount, 35% was supplied to Germany.
