The Longest Hoarding in India is installed at Kamshet on Mumbai-Pune Expressway. The hoarding measuring 350 feet in height and 50 feet in width can be seen by travellers going from Pune to Mumbai. The visibility of this site is almost two kilometers. This hoarding has created a record under the India Book of Records and the credit goes to Glenn Pais of Mumbai, Maharashtra, the owner of Clauderricks Enterprises. He installed the eye-catching billboard of the brand Ganger Eyenation to make it apart and memorable.

Glenn Pais is an entrepreneur in the advertising industry. His expertise in this trade spans over 30 years. Adapting business growth in line with new requirements is the need of the hour and this approach has helped him immensely over the years. For him, dedication and consistent efforts go a long way in fulfilling commitments. His company,

Clauderricks Enterprises was founded in the year 2003 to erect hoardings in Mumbai. However, there was a great opportunity to take the business forward by installing hoardings along the highways. Mumbai-Pune Expressway was the starting point of this endeavour. Soon the other highways, like the Mumbai-Nashik, Mumbai-Goa and Mumbai-Gujarat routes too had a similar demand and so the company began operating along these major highways. How the idea of the longest hoarding emerged? His reply was prompt: “Traditional large- format hoardings are an integral part of the core business of our company. We wanted to leverage our expertise to create a media asset that not only garners attention but also leaves an indelible impression on all those who view it. The Kamshet site is a move towards providing clients with something exclusive and innovative. However, There were several challenges we had to overcome to make our vision a reality. The highways often experience high-velocity winds and dust storms. We have all the safety precautions in place for our workforce, however, such unpredictable natural occurrences can cause some delays at times. Given the size of this hoarding extra reinforcements and engineering skills were required during construction.”

The record for installing the longest hoarding was set by Glenn Pais of Mumbai, owner of Clauderricks Enterprises, who installed a big hoarding of the brand Ganger Eyenation at Kamshed on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway.

Pune-based Naturopath, Yoga and Holistic Care Expert, Dr Chitra Jain was the Adjudicator from the India Book of Records, who verified the claim and declared the record. “Our biggest achievement of establishing the ‘Longest hoarding in India’ has come in the 20th year of our business. This achievement was recognized by the India Book of Records on April 23, 2023, making this day a very special and memorable occasion for me, my family, and my organisation. Now, we are looking forward to exploring the digital marketing space in the near future,” said Glenn Pais.

For over two decades, Clauderricks Enterprises has constructed more than 400 large-format OOH sites on major highways. On the Mumbai-Pune Expressway, vehicles travel at a higher speed. A larger site offers more visibility and clarity of the advertised content. Brands have the flexibility of utilizing the space to project so much more to the targeted consumer. “With a site as big as 350 feet x 50 feet, we are giving brands an opportunity to create maximum impact. I am confident that all brands irrespective of category and segment will recognise the value we offer,” he added.
