2022 Indiana State Meeting
Hamid Saahir is an attorney barred in the District of Columbia and Indiana. He is a graduate of the University of the District of Columbia David A. Clarke School of Law, where he served as president of the Student Bar Association. Caring for the concerns of his clients, Mr. Saahir does not simply want to win cases; he wants to provide his clients the justice they deserve. No matter the issue, Mr. Saahir puts his best foot forward and is dedicated to all whom he serves. In addition to serving his clients, Mr. Saahir also serves as a legal advisor for The Nation’s Mosque, Masjid Muhammad who has recently partnered with Banneker Ventures to build the Clara on Martin Luther King Avenue in Southeast DC. He is a consultant with WCP Communications where he has helped with public relations on cases including police brutality cases of Jacob Blake and Joel Acevedo, cases led by attorneys Ben Crump and B’Ivory LaMarr. He assists law firms with trial preparation on major personal injury cases ranging in the millions of dollars. Before his pursuit of justice within our legal system, Mr. Saahir was a high school teacher in the District of Columbia Public School System, Deputy Director of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., a freelance graphic designer, an impressive photographer, and owned and operated 4Cast Magazine. In his spare time, Mr. Saahir provides mentorship and academic advice to students. Recently, Mr. Saahir served as the Social Media Chair for the American Bar Association’s Litigation Section Family Law Committee, served as the past Vice-Chair of the Law Student Division of the National Bar Association, and is active in other bar associations and civic groups. Additionally, Mr. Saahir is an of-counsel attorney at May Lightfoot, PLLC located in Washington, DC.

Brother Willie Charles Howard Garrett Great Lakes Regional 1st Vice Director Born in East Cleveland, Ohio USA on April 25, 1970. Graduated from Shaw High School in June of 1988. Later attended and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Gerontology from Bowling Green State University, Bowling Green, Ohio in December of 1993. Obtained an Executive Master of Public Administration from the Golden Gate University graduating with honors. Currently in pursuit of a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) at the Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. Serves as the proud pastor of Solid Rock Church, Inc. Toledo, Ohio.
A vested man with a passion to continually grow, he also teaches courses geared around the daily methods of operation in building different types of home based businesses throughout the country.

Jacob Hughes is a National Consultant with the number one direct seller of energy in the world Ambit Energy. His work focuses on recruiting partners and facilitating training courses with other consultants on how to engage deregulated energy markets for the purposes of acquiring customers needing natural gas or electricity.
Jacob has worked relentlessly for many years helping others build their businesses. He is a firm believer that his success has always been the result of the success of others. In business and in life, this is the motto he lives by.

Brother Doctor Justen V. Seay, Sr. Ohio State Director Dr. Justen V. Seay, Sr. is a career educator with years of experience in K 12 vocal and general music education and administration. He received his BA in Music Education and MA in Curriculum and Instruction from Mount Vernon Nazarene University, MA in Educational Leadership from Argosy University, and his Doctor of Education in Educational Administration and Leadership from Walden University. His research interests include arts education, Improving student achievement of at risk students, parent involvement, and transformational leadership. He is the president of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. Beta Xi Sigma Greater Dayton Alumni Chapter, Mu Phi Epsilon International Professional Music Fraternity, and Kappa Delta Pi Education Honor Society. His ultimate goal is to prepare the next generation of leaders to impact the world in a positive manner.

Brother Muhammad Saahir Ed.S., LMHC Muhammad Saahir, Ed.S., LMHC has experience working with clients dealing with depressed moods, anxiety-related disorders, and adjustment issues in both individual and couples counseling. Furthermore, Saahir has a passion for working with traditionally underserved populations with a focus on identity exploration and development, while honoring the experience of the client. After completing an undergrad degree and a Masters in Higher Education and Student Affairs from Indiana University Bloomington (IUB), Saahir earned a Masters in Counseling and Counselor Education from Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI). Saahir is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Indiana and a proud member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.
