RECLAIM THE RIVERFRONT
vi Re
This project is located on the northwest part of River North Art District. As an area between the South Platte River and Five Points neighborhood, it has a couple of issues including physical disconnection, industrial land illness, underutilized waterfront, etc. My proposal starts at urban design scale, with strategies of making new connections, reclaiming the riverfront, repurposing industrial buildings, creating commercial corridors, and providing new affordable housing. Then I choose two riverfront blocks next to 31st street for site design. In the site plan, I reclaim it as green space for residents, artists and tourists.

URBAN DESIGN ART VILLAGE DESIGN | 2013 This urban design project is located in Huang Gongwang village(former residence), Fuyang, Zhejiang province. To meet the design theme “beautiful city & countryside, sustainable development, we aim at creating places suitable for both urban and rural environment. We design out of the historic tradition and urban environmental features, aiming to dig out more new and marvelous public spaces. At the same time, think about various urban problems existing within, and give solutions to them.

GREENWAY DESIGN WANG LI CREEK GREENWAY DESIGN | 2013
Located in pingqiao town, tiantai xian, zhejiang province, this project is part of local greenway system planning. With no much previous cases here in china, greenway design is a new try for pingqiao town. The developing slogan of this town is "good for live, good for work, good for learn". This design just meet the need of "good for live". The greenway design of wang li creek is both the result of people-oriented consideration and nature-oriented consideration. We design out of human needs, human dimensions and people's usage. During the design process,we fully take account of residents' participation and do our best to make the greenway part of their lives.
