he program speaks for itself. So many good bands within the extreme metal genre. At least I can't wait to see old school favourites like Venom and Triumph of Death or to check out newer bands like Xenoblight and Konvent. Too many to mention. I can't wait to see old friends again either. It's just been too long. Inferno is so much more than just music. It's an experience and we are so happy to make you a part of it all. n good tradition Indie Recordings are inviting to a Label Night with some ass-kicking good metal! Wednesday 13 April, the night before Inferno Metal Festival, Nordjevel, Nattefrost and Gloson will enter the stage at Salt. Free entrance for festival goers with 4-day Inferno pass and delegates. NOK 325 for those without. The night starts up with Gloson, who just released their acclaimed sophomore album The Rift. This is relentless, primitive, yet mesmerizingly sludge from the depths of the Swedish forests. Through a unique combination of post black and sludge, Gloson drags you into a comforting and chaotic world of blinding indifference. Second, Agabas from Trondheim plays death jazz – an unforgiving fusion of the most intense
elements of jazz and the sheer weight of metal. This very atypical sound is cemented by the clarinet soaring over the sea of riffs and blast beats – the result is quite unique. And even though the music is unquestionably experimental, nothing is compromised in terms of raw live energy. Their music is inspired by bands such as Meshuggah, Gojira, Converge and The Dillinger Escape Plan, and their live show is as intense as their idols. Last, is none other than the brutal and infernal force Nordjevel! Through distinctive vocals set to a brutal and instrumental sonic desert, Nordjevel leads the listeners into an empire of infernal rage filled with an obscure, barbaric darkness. INFERNO ART EXHIBITIONS KIM HOLM Kim Holm is a painter and cartoonist from Bergen, Norway. You might has noted Holm while standing on the side of the stage during Inferno painting the concert in the speed of blastbeats. He has adapted H.P. Lovecraft in the graphic novel "Pickman's Model" and done artwork for Sólstafir Vreid, Abbath, Devil, Obliteration and Primordial – just to mention a few.
ZEIN Z This talented artist drawing will catch your breath. This has been noted by music personalities as Phil Anselmo and Sigurd Wongraven where they are the focus of her drawings. We will let her have her own word as presentation. Who else know best what’s goes around in a creative mind than themselves?
PETER REES Peter Rees is a Dublin based Artist, although he is a native of Wicklow, completely selftaught and have been painting for as long as he can remember.
DAVID THIÉRRÉE David Thiérrée is a French artist born in 1970. His artworks have been used for several books dealing with fantasy worlds and creatures, he stepped a bit in the gaming industry, and got a first art book out in 2011. Was honoured in 2008 with a “Froud award” for best

artist of the month, and best artist of the year, and have been featured in the Spectrum Fantasy art annual compendium.
STEFAN RADUTA Stefan Raduta is a Romanian-born freelance journalist, photographer and music promoter living in New York City. Stefan’s approach to dark music photography is very in-depth and artistic, focusing on capturing the intensity of the Moment.
VINCENT FOUQUET Art Director and Illustrator from Britain (Bretagne), France, Vincent Fouquet works mainly for the European music scene, especially with extreme Metal bands. In 2013, he founds his studio “Above Chaos” and begins to elaborate his particular artistic vision: a permanent opposition between the good and the evil, the life and the death, the graceful and the horrifying.
COSTIN CHIOREANU Costin Chioreanu is a Romanian graphic designer, illustrator, and video artist. Specialized in Graphic Design, with a bachelor and a master’s degree at the National University of Arts, in Bucharest, he started his graphic studio in 2003, under the name of Twilight 13 Media. Some of his more renowned collaborators are Ghost, At the Gates, Opeth, Arch Enemy, Darkthrone, Napalm Death, Arcturus, Ulver, Enslaved, Triptykon, Decide, Mayhem, My Dying Bride, Wardruna, Paradise Lost, Sigh, Necrophagia and many others.

GREAT LAKE TOUR In this trip you will see the clean Norwegian lakes and nature in all its beauty. Maridalsvannet, or Lake Maridal, is the largest lake in Oslo, and serves as the main drinking water supply for the city. The lake carries its clear waters via the river Akerselva to the Oslo fjord. The trip starts in front of Clarion The Hub. We will then take the Vy train to Snippen station. This is a great train ride so don't forget to take pictures! We will hike up to the tall hill where some simple climbing is required. The view from this hill is breath-taking! You will see the most of Oslo, the Oslo fjord, and a large part of Oslo´s surroundings. We will then stroll down to the great lake Maridalsvannet and finish our trip where we started at Jernbanetorget. 4 hours – 9.5 km – 100 Euros – Starts 10.00. HOLMENKOLLEN WALK The hiking tour to Holmenkollen starts outside Clarion The Hub. You will meet the local guide, and together you will take the metro line Frognerseteren to Lillevann. You will hike past idyllic Lillevann and then down to Frognerseteren restaurant. The trip follows part of the 50-kilometer trail, down a toboggan run from the first Luge World Championship in 1955, past Midtstubakken and further down to Holmenkollen Chapel. The highlight of this hiking tour is without doubt the majestic Holmenkollen ski jump, one of the most famous sport arenas in the world. You will then stroll down to the metro station and finish the trip at Jernbanetorget, where you started. 3 Hours – 5 km – 75 Euros – Starts 12.00. slo is the city where Edvard Munch grew up and started out as an artist. This is also the place where he spent the last decades of his life. Today, Oslo houses the largest part of Munch’s artistic production, including his best-known masterpieces. Join our 2-hour Munch tour and get to know one of the greatest artists of modern times!
T
he tour starts at The Hub at 11.00. After a brief introduction to Edvard Munch and his art, we will take a short walk to the new Munch Museum, inaugurated October 22, 2021. The guided tour will take you through the exhibitions Edvard Munch Infinite and Edvard Munch Monumental: these collection exhibitions invite you to explore the world of Edvard Munch, to experience famous motifs such as The Scream, Madonna, Vampire, The Sun, as well as other major works. The guided tour will end at 13.00, at the roof terrace on the 12th floor, with a unique view of the city. If you want to spend some more time at the Munch Museum, you have access to all the other exhibitions: Edvard Munch Stenersen (experience Munch’s art
alongside works by other major Nordic artists who were his contemporaries), Edvard Munch Shadows (a ground-breaking interactive museum experience of Munch’s private residence Ekely, showing also the things Munch owned and used in his everyday life), Up Close (this exhibition uncovers the extraordinary breadth of Munch’s woodcuts, from his earliest attempts to the last woodcut he ever printed), and The Savage Eye (experience some of history’s most significant artists, including Salvador Dalí, Vincent van Gogh, Louise Bourgeois, Pablo Picasso, Marcel Duchamp, Max Ernst, Paul Gauguin, René Magritte, Joan Miró and Auguste Rodin in a surreal exhibition that explores dreams, insanity, sex, and revolution).
The tour takes place from 11:00 to 13:00. Price: NOK 285 per person including entrance to the Munch Museum (Your ticket is valid until closing time) + Ticketmaster fee per person. ariusz "Daray" Brzozowski is one of the most recognized drummers in the metal scene. Well known for his extreme drumming, blast beats, precision, and supersonic speeds, he earned his reputation through the years and was repeatedly valued for his achievements. Extensively touring the world with his bands. He played over 1000 shows. Born in 1980, he got his first kit at the age of 14. His story began with the band Vesania and was continued in bands such as Vader, and Masachist. He’s also a session musician for multiple bands. Today, drumming for Dimmu Borgir, Hunter and Black River, and being an active clinician and educator, he remains in the lead of the worlds‘ uncompromising drummer. Mentionable items during the years include the First edition of the Burzum – Burzum album on vinyl, burnable stave church candle of the Fantoft Stave church, Abbath's leather boot (signed) from the “Fuck Christ” tour of 1993, Old Funeral fully signed original “Abduction Of Limbs” demo, cymbal used on “De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas” and Fenriz' acoustic guitar. Who knows what will be brought to the table for the 2022 auction!?! Free entrance!

Yes, you can. They are automatically transferred to 2022 and you don't have to do anything.

Are there any Covid-19 restriction at the festival or when travel to Norway?
In all the bars.
No, all restriction in Norway was lifted 12th of February 2022.
Restricted items you are not allowed to bring inside the venue: Objects with a sharp point or sharp edge such as spikes, knives, scissors, umbrellas etc. Food and drink (all sorts) and containers of such. Items will be confiscated by security at entrance.
I need help or there is an emergency situation. What do I do? Contact the professional security staff (ProSec and “Ordensvakt”). The staff will be wearing official ID-badges.
Can I go out and re-enter later? Yes, as long as you have a valid wristband on. Bringing any sort of drinks out of the venue is not allowed outside the designated areas on the roof terrace or outside the
Where is the cloak room? Where can I get ear protection buds? Where and what time are the artist signings? The artist signings are located in the Annex area next to the tattoo artists.
I've lost my wristband/it has come apart/it is too tight, what do I do? Visit the accreditation office for help.
