APPLICATION FORM for the project "Solidarity in action!" 2019-2020 Stranaidea will welcome young people who wish to do a long term Individual Volunteering of 12 months in our social field. EVS project title: Solidarity in Action! Date of the project activity: 6/09/2019 – 30/08/2020 (the availability has to be given for 12 months) DEADLINE TO SEND YOUR CANDIDATURE: urgent as soon as possible Place of activities: Turin and Cirié ( city at 30 km from Turin) Profile of the candidate for the project described at https://europa.eu/youth/solidarity/placement/2861_en We are looking for young people interested to have an experience in no–profit organisation that works in the social field with: - daily activities with people with different kind of disabilities (children and adults) - daily activities with adult with difficulties as homeless men - social theatre workshops with disable people and the local community (ex. students) - promotion of European Solidarity Corps about youth mobility - hosting of refugees and asylum seekers as Stranaidea works with another social cooperative called Dalla Stessa Parte at a project called Mister Gr.ab. meant to host refugees and asylum seekers and to propose different kind of activities and supporting actions. They will work within a team of educators on different activities such as Italian language and culture lessons support, freetime and sport activities, socialisation with the local community and help in the accompaniments for documents issues. Applicants need to be really motivated, adaptable and flexible for both opportunities. Volunteering timetable: volunteers will volunteer for maximum 38 hours per week (a daily and weekly timetable will be defined after the project starts) Accomodation, food, transports: volunteers will live in a flat in Torino with a fully furnished kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms to be shared with another volunteer of the same gender; money is given for food, local transports to move in Turin and to reach Cirié; a pocket money of 5€ per day is given for personal expenses; a travel forfait of 275€ is established by the Programme ESC to travel from your city to Turin and return (travel days already defined are: 5/09/2019 and 1/09/2020). The steps of our selection process are: If your candidature is suitable for the project you will be contacted by e-mail to agree for a 1st Skype interview To be available to read e-mails often and agree for other skype interviews if proposed Selection process: the candidate has first to send a CV (Europass format is preferable with a low resolution photo) and this application form, and later to be available to be interviewed by Skype also more than one time. If you do not have a Skype contact you have to activate it, it is very easy and for free. This is the preferable instrument to be used. The selection process will be closed possibly within the end of June 2019 but if we need we will go on also after that time.
