INFOPACK: GRUPPO R SCS STARTING AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, 6 MONTHS
DESCRIPTION OF THE ORGANIZATION Gruppo R is a social, non-profit, cooperative which aims to pursue the general interest of the community for human promotion and citizens social integration. Gruppo R has a multifaceted purpose as it deals with the management of social and educational services, the employment of disadvantaged people and the reception of refugees and asylum seekers. Gruppo R methodology aims at preventing social and economical troubles and recovering personal autonomy, with a non-assistantship approach. By placing the person and his/her needs at the heart of each action, Gruppo R sees trustful relationships as the starting point for a concrete recognition of the dignity of the person. Through it, it is possible to promote social reintegration paths where the person is the protagonist of his story. The Cooperative manages the following services in the territory of Padua: an employment/training workshop for marginalized people in cooperation with the municipality of Padua; a daily reception center called "La Bussola", designed to provide essential services and facilitate people’s integration; welcoming services for women victims of violence or on trouble; services of welcoming and hosting for homeless people; welcoming services for refugee and asylum seekers; working productive activities for particular aimed at the employment of disadvantaged people.
