Summer versus winter .. what do you prefer? Good morning dear readers! This article is about the seasons...Which season do you prefer most, between Summer and Winter? Cold weather and hot weather are the two most opposing sides, both with good and bad benefits. In the summer, there are a lot more activities you can do, rather than the winter. We can start with summer; • During this time, there is only one midnight which means that the days are incredibly long. This makes some landscapes particularly surprising, especially the vibrant colors like the sunset, which turns into a sunrise. Not only does the midnight sun offer breathtaking views, but it is useful during travel. The incredible length of light means you will never get lost in the dark. • There are many beautiful places to camp and music festivals that take place during the summer. • Especially in European regions, the temperature is around 20 degrees,up to 35 degrees, but this varies greatly from one region to another. • Another important feature concerns lovers of the sea and exotic beaches. In fact, during this period, the beaches are teeming with tourists coming from all over the world. • Live near a close pool or beach? The summertime is the best season to cool yourself off with a quick swim at the pool with your friends. • Summer provides the best anti-stress time of all. The possibilities are endless for having fun, whether it’s indoor or outdoor activities. • Summertime means no school which provides a stress free relaxation period. You don´t have to worry about whats due the next day and everyday feels like the weekend. You don’t even seem to remember the date anymore because of the amount of fun you have. 5
Now it’s rime for winter... • Winter is the coldest season of the year. In the dead of winter you will find the winter solstice, which is when the days are short and the nights are longest for the year. • First, let’s discuss sports. Maybe you can play more sports in the summer, but you can play almost all of those sports in the winter. Just throw on a sweater or play indoors if you can’t handle the cold. • Drinking hot chocolate is a great treat in the cold winter months. Holding a warm mug when it’s cold outside is most of the confort. • You can also have the best conversations with people during the winter because there’s not much to look at except go shopping for Christmas gifts and winter clothes. • In the wintertime, people are forced to drive everywhere in their freezing cold cars and traverse the icy, dangerous roads. On the other hand, summer allows people to drive on safer surfaces, or walk or bike places while maintaining warmth and comfort. • During the winter, there are some very fun school organized events: dances. Although many people do not wait, they’re great opportunities to relax, have a good time with your friends, and forget the stress of school. • In winter there are no mosquitoes and other types of insects. For some people, especially if they suffer from any disease or have allergies, they will certainly prefer winter rather than summer.

Training course Ever wonder how the Erasmus+ projects are made? How does the writting process actually works? Are there any secrets behind a successful projects? Well this training course was exactly about that. It took place from 6 - 15 November 2018 in Berlin in the PRO Social building. I’ve always wanted to learn how this process works, so when i read about it i said to myself ‘’I must apply for this project’’. The aim of this project was to explore the Erasmus+ possibilities, to learn how to develop an idea into application and to exchange experiences and knowledge regarding this topic. We learned about the three Key Actions this program is offering and all the content within them. The reason why these kind of projects exist is because of the problems that surround us. And those problems first require analyses. What is the problem, does it affect us, what can we do to solve it.. The key of a successful project lies within the partners. They need to be chosen wisely and in the application form you need to provide an explanation why you specificaly choosed those partners. The project itself lasts for more than 6 months, but the activity is only for couple of days. Throughout the whole project, the NGOs are communicating between eachother and it’s very important to maintain that in order to have a successful and more efficient project. Also you need to keep in mind about using some useful tools and methods. And finally the evaluation and follow-up are essential steps in every project. They are steps in which actual results and outcomes are observed, evaluated and documented. So if you want to be a future project manager, if you want to write your own projects, make sure to check the official Erasmus+ website, look for the topic you’re interested in learning more and apply for that project. 11
Under my skin Training course
Have you ever wondered how you can raise awareness and lower some of the racism and discrimination that is happening all around us in the modern society. Maybe even how you can help the people who are being discriminated and raise their self-confidence. Well this training course was all about that and fighting discrimination and racism on different levels. The project was 5 days plus 2 for traveling and accommodation . The main event was in Lorca – Spain. The people in Spain were all friendly and open minded to new friendships and making new memories. The same goes to all the participants who were from 11 different countries including ( Spain, Macedonia, Greece, Estonia, Lithuania, Hungary, Bulgaria, Croatia, Romania, Italy, bb). All of us wanted to have some fun, meet new awesome people, make the project as successful as possible and have an amazing experience. The main topic was to recognize invisible discrimination and racism in different scenarios. Also the main problem with invisible discrimination is that it can be used on purpose and unconscious. So first we need to determine what type of discrimination is used in order to stop it. Second many people don’t realize they are hurting others feelings with silly jokes and pokes who are mostly not intentional.

Theatre of Giraffe Training course
This September two people from our organisation participated in the training course “Theatre of Giraffe” in Poland. Here are their impressions for the project: In the beginning, all of us were wondering what is the point of everything. Before the projects, we saw a few videos from Marshall Rosenberg, but we didn’t catch the whole point. We started with knowing each other, meditating, after that, we continue with the activities. We were trying to solve problems without arguing and the most important we learned that in every situation the most important thing is to observe others person needs and help them in particular situations without much talking only with a few questions that everyone needs to hear, for example “..and how are you now?”, “how do you feel?”, “what are your needs in the moment” etc. Honestly, at first I didn’t believe in this type of conversation but after a few exercises, I realize that this actually works and all you need to do is to try this type of behavior, this type of nonviolent communication. The whole project was amazing and really helped to clear some things with yourself first then with the others. And my favorite part was one quote that said one of the trainers that made me think a lot “Life is a piece of paper, it’s up to you what you see behind”.

Turkish art Turkish art refers to all works of visual art originating from the geographical area of what is present day Turkey since the arrival of the Turksin the Middle Ages. Turkey also was the home of much significant art produced by earlier cultures, including the Hittites, Ancient Greeks, and Byzantines. Ottoman art is therefore to the dominant element of Turkish art before the 20th century, although the Seljuks and other earlier Turks also contributed. The 16th and 17th centuries are generally recognized as the finest period for art in the Ottoman Empire, much of it associated with the huge Imperial court. In particular the long reign of Suleiman the Magnificent from 1520–1566 brought a combination, rare in any ruling dynasty, of political and military success with strong encouragement of the arts. The nakkashane, as the palace workshops are now generally known, were evidently very important and productive, but though there is a fair amount of surviving documentation, much remains unclear about how they operated. They operated over many different media, but apparently not including pottery or textiles, with the craftsmen or artists apparently a mixture of slaves, especially Persians, captured in war (at least in the early periods), trained Turks, and foreign specialists. They were not necessarily physically located in the palace, and may have been able to undertake work for other clients as well as the sultan. Many specialities were passed from father to son.

SOCIAL MEDIA SECURITY TIPS TO MITIGATE RISKS By Batuhan Ayribas
Social media accounts are powerful tools in the wrong hands. We’ve recently seen hackers take over the Twitter accounts of media outlets and large corporations, using them for anything from basic spam to drawing attention to global issues. Your own accounts might seem too small to tempt scammers, but even with just a few followers your information is a valuable commodity. Read on for tips to stay safe on social networks.
Use unique passwords for each social network It’s a pain, but it is also absolutely essential that you don’t use the same password for Twitter as you do for, say, Facebook, Instagram and other social tools. Using a single password makes it easy for hackers, as gaining access to one means gaining access to all – and imagine how painful it will be when you find you’re locked out of your entire online life. When you use one password for multiple services, you’re only as safe as the least secure service you use. 22
