The Friends of West Park School have kindly organised our yearly Christmas Craft Fair to be held on the evening of Wednesday 2nd December. Doors will open at 6pm until 8pm. Come along and support West Park School and find some unique gifts for Christmas . Recent donations from the Friends have allowed us to go ahead with the construction of our Multi Use Games Area. Funds this year will finance improvements to the school yards. Thank you to all parents who organise and support these events.

Janice Forbes was able to come into school last week to accept a cheque for the Hartlepool Hospice for £134.40 after sales of fresh produce from our Harvest Festival. We have also sent a cheque for £279.16 to the RVI Hospital in Newcastle after our “Bring a Coin for Jacob” day. Thank you for your support and generosity.
Solar Panels Congratulations to everyone involved in our successful Solar Panel bid. We would like to take this opportunity to particularly thank Paul Hewitson who worked tirelessly to encourage West Park parents and carers, the Hartlepool Community and the public further afield to vote. We are hoping to get the panels installed as soon as possible.
Will Santa use the Internet? Mrs Strickland introduced this initiative a number of years ago when fundraising began for the Multi Use Games Area. We are now working towards improving the school yards. The Giving Machine is a fabulous and easy way to raise funds for the school. Before any internet shopping simply visit the Giving Machine site and access Amazon, Tesco, ebay, Next, Asda, Tesco, House of Fraser, play.com etc etc through the site. www.thegivingmachine.co.uk Only a small number of parents/staff have joined the charity but we have still received cheques for the school to spend on making improvements for your children totalling over £300! So imagine what we can do if you all join… Please support us. There is no catch the site is completely safe. Mrs Strickland – “Promoting Positive Playtimes” Information you need as you visit the website: Visit the website: www.thegivingmachine.co.uk Choose: Join / Giver Submit your details (email and password) Our school post code is TS26 0BU when locating the beneficiary.
