Classic Desserts product range encompasses a vast variety of approximately 70 items, from hot puddings to a wide assortment of cheesecakes, gateaux, tarts & pies. Many of their products are unique to them, and all desserts are made by hand, but ensure quality is kept to the highest level standard possible.

Farmhouse Potato Bakers was launched over 25 years ago by Rob and Hilary Bannister as a way of complementing their farming business on the Yorkshire Wolds. In the late 1970’s and early 1980’s they built a reputation for supplying good quality baking potatoes and subsequently developed the business into baking and freezing potatoes to enable caterers to overcome waste and quality issues experienced with fresh potatoes at various times throughout the year. As with all the family’s products, the range contains only potatoes from British farm assured land, with many still grown on the family farm in the Yorkshire Wolds. Cooking Instructions: re-heat oven to Electric 200ºC/400ºF/Gas Mark 6. Place potato skins on a baking tray in the hottest part of the oven for about 18 minutes. Microwave:800watt (6 skins): Place potato skins on a microwavable plate and cook on full power for 4 minutes.

Terms and Conditions Orders

All orders should be placed with our sales office at least the day before the scheduled delivery day in your area. Orders placed on our answer phone service will be delivered to you as soon as possible. Please give your name and number when placing orders.

Deliveries

All goods must be checked and signed for by our customers at the time of delivery. Any claims or shortages should be noted and acknowledged by our driver. In order to ensure the quality and safety of the products we are unable to accept the return of chilled foods unless notified of damage or defect at the time of delivery.

Most food products with a life from manufacturer of twelve months or less must be by law dated either by best before date or a sell by date statement. We, as a company will make every effort to ensure that all delivered stock has an optimum remaining life when we receive our customers valued orders. However, all customers should check the durability dates upon receipt of their orders.

We reserve the right to change products, brands and pack sizes to an equivalent or improved standard as circumstances dictate.

Payments

Strictly cash on delivery unless credit terms have been previously agreed by the company. Where credit facilities have been agreed, payment of accounts must be made by the 14th day from the statement date. All risks in the goods pass to the purchaser on the delivery. Ownership of the goods delivered to our Customers shall remain with us until payment of the invoice has been received in full. In the event of an account being in arrears, we reserve the right to withhold further supplies.

Despite our best efforts problems occasionally arise, if they do please telephone our telesales department where a competent person will deal with the matter.

Prices

We take particular pride in fulfilling orders placed with us, but circumstances beyond our control can cause shortages. We will usually offer a suitable alternative for your approval.

The prices published in this price list are correct at time of going to press but may alter without prior notice. The effective price is that ruling at the time of despatch. Placing of orders by our customers denotes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
