“I am thrilled to announce my support for this bipartisan bill that will make our communities safer and give former inmates a second chance at life after they have served their time,” Trump said during brief remarks in the Roosevelt Room. Trump added that the White House pledge “to ‘Hire American’ includes those leaving prison and looking for a very fresh start -- new job, new life.” Trump’s son-in-law and senior adviser, Jared Kushner, who has taken on criminal justice reform efforts since joining the White House, was present during the President’s remarks. Doctor says tear gas used at the border can cause permanent skin burns and breathing trouble in kids: ‘It is absolutely horrific’ When a Reuter’s photograph of two children and their mother fleeing tear gas at the border in Tijuana, Mexico, went viral on Twitter, many focused on what the image means for immigration policy.

“Asking to be considered a refugee & applying for status isn’t a crime,” tweeted Rep.-elect Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. “Seeking asylum is LEGAL,” added Rep. Pramila Jayapal. Others, like Fox News host Tomi Lahren, applauded the move of using tear gas on families. “Watching the USA FINALLY defend our borders was the HIGHLIGHT of my Thanksgiv-

AFFORDABLE CARE ACT OBAMACARE OPEN ENROLLMENT IS AVAILABLE NOW THROUGH DECEMBER 15TH – SIGN UP NOW! Francis Taylor, Asst. Editor, Email: francis_taylor@sbcglobal.net Former President Barack Obama’s Affordable Care Act (ACA) frequently referred to as Obamacare, which provides healthcare for all, is available now until December 15. Trump is doing everything in his power to not inform US citizens, in an effort to destroy it. The Trump administration has cut marketing and funding for ACA by 90% and broadened the opportunity for private sector agents and brokers to assist consumers in signing up last fall.

Nevertheless the Affordable Care Act or Obamacare is still available and if you or any of your friends or family members do not currently have medical coverage, spread the word and advise them to enroll NOW. Open enrollment is available until December 15! Tell a friend and if there are any issues related to your enrollment notify your congressional representative who, for the City of Inglewood, is Congresswoman Maxine Waters.
