Holiday Season Begins with Thanksgiving Turkeys Galore

The City of Inglewood kicked off a robust holiday season with their 7th annual Turley Giveaway on Nov. 23rd at Hollywood Park, but the massive event hosted by Mayor James T. Butts Jr. and famous entertainer Snoop Dogg was not the only measure of generosity that swept through the region. Presented by Pepsi, more than 2,500 Inglewood residents received donated turkeys from Don Lee Farms in
addition to a bag of groceries. Residents had to register to get the many goodies at Hollywood Park and they did so in abundance swooping up their goodies at the drive through event. 2,500 Inglewood residents, providing turkeys donated by Don Lee Farms, a bag of sides and additional items from Pepsi. Melissa’s, the official produce partner of SoFi Stadium, YouTube Theater, and American Airlines Plaza, will also donate 25,000 lbs. of
produce, including Idaho® potatoes, carrots and Granny Smith apples. The Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway is a drive thru event. “While we are not where we were last year, we are still seeing the effects of the pandemic in our community. It has created real hardships for many of our residents,” said Mayor Butts, “but through the support of our sponsoring partner, Pepsi, our host Hollywood Park, as well as the helping hand offered by Snoop Dogg, a longtime
