I’M THANKFUL Historically Thanksgiving Day is celebrated in the USA and few other countries around the world. Today we find ourselves adopting a lifestyle of thanksgiving and gratitude. This common thread stems from a pandemic that shook the world and changed the lives of many. When we consider the tragedies, the job losses and the life altering after effects that a global pandemic had on those nearest and dearest to us, we find ourselves thankful that we survived. We stay on the path of thanksgiving by counting our blessings. Gratitude and thankfulness fills us with hope, and hope causes us to keep moving forward. Personally I’m thankful for resilience, I’m thankful for persistence and I’m thankful for faith. One of my greatest blessings is the fact that I get to journey through life with the people I’ve adopted into my world. Be it friends, family or my team, they add a myriad of color and help me gain perspective. I’m filled with gratitude when I can add value, when I can shape the life of a new recruit, when I can lend a helping hand to a friend and when I can support my family. I count it a privilege. When I look at those that are ahead of me, I’m thankful that I have the opportunity to get there. Most of all I’m thankful that I’m not where I used to be. Wherever you may be on this journey we call life, be thankful for the million little miracles that brought you to this point. Let faith arise and keep hope alive. Be thankful always.
