HOME FROM HOME The boarding community at Burgess Hill Girls is a warm and welcoming mix of girls from around the world. With girls aged from 11 to 18 living together, we foster a family atmosphere where everyone looks out for each other. Our two spacious, comfortable boarding houses are a home from home, with areas where girls can work, socialise, have quiet time, practise their instruments and pursue their own hobbies and interests. Both houses have ample kitchen, laundry and recreational facilities. Boarders share age-appropriate dorms, personalising their rooms with photographs and special belongings to make it feel like home.

There are opportunities within boarding for leadership and responsibility. Most importantly, in our close community, each girl is known as an individual, celebrated for her talents and helped to develop skills for her future.

The boarding staff give great advice and make me feel safe. WHAT’S YOUR PASSION?

“Burgess Hill Girls is a great place to enjoy the process of learning new things.” WHAT HAVE YOU LEARNT? Burgess Hill Girls is a great place to enjoy the process of learning new things, especially if you are into being creative. My art teacher always encourages me to break through the boundaries. WHAT MAKES BURGESS HILL GIRLS SPECIAL? Burgess Hill Girls is a very positive community and teaches us how to cope with issues in a healthy way. This is just one of the many ways the school has helped myself and all the pupils get ready for life beyond Burgess Hill Girls.

I like to design make up looks but not the run of the mill – mine are extreme! More generally WHAT DO YOU WANT TO DO IN THE FUTURE? I am very passionate about art. My dream is to be either a fashion designer or a tattoo artist living in a small house with pets and friends.
