BOARDING
WELCOME TO BURGESS HILL GIRLS Welcome! Boarding at Burgess Hill Girls is a second home where girls are nurtured and encouraged to thrive. Small and supportive, our boarding community offers a homely, family experience with individual attention given to each girl in our care. We pride ourselves on our open-door policy. Our friendly, experienced team is always available to help, from lending a hand with homework to running craft clubs or offering a shoulder to cry on if needed. Our house staff are excellent role models to the girls and help them feel secure and comfortable within the boarding environment. With all this support, your daughter will quickly feel at home at Burgess Hill Girls. This guide will give you an introduction to boarding; please also visit our website to browse videos and our virtual tour. We would be delighted to show you around at your convenience.

HOME FROM HOME The boarding community at Burgess Hill Girls is a warm and welcoming mix of girls from around the world. With girls aged from 11 to 18 living together, we foster a family atmosphere where everyone looks out for each other. Our two spacious, comfortable boarding houses are a home from home, with areas where girls can work, socialise, have quiet time, practise their instruments and pursue their own hobbies and interests. Both houses have ample kitchen, laundry and recreational facilities. Boarders share age-appropriate dorms, personalising their rooms with photographs and special belongings to make it feel like home.

There are opportunities within boarding for leadership and responsibility. Most importantly, in our close community, each girl is known as an individual, celebrated for her talents and helped to develop skills for her future.
