I think the best way to deal with uncertainty is first to expect it and be comfortable with it. Second, build an internal value system that rewards change and dynamism in work prioritization. By being flexible about any challenges coming our way and being nimble in our speed of response is what allows us to deal with uncertainty. Since we are ahead of the two years plan and we already did research and development on 85+ projects.

Basic Money Management Skills and Knowledge: As a business owner, if you fail to manage your money wisely, then it can lead to issues like running out of money, not having enough savings, and making late payments. How Amway is “winning” from the covid-19 crisis

Michigan, U.S based company Amway, is known as a direct selling beauty, health, and home care products, was founded in 1959 by DeVos and JayVan Andel. Currently, the company operation presence in more than 100+ countries and territories.

According to the company, after lockdown, more than 2.8 lakh/month home deliveries are happening right at the moment, which is around 70 to 80% of its overall sales. Michigan, U.S based company Amway expects online order to reach more than 5 to 6 Lakh/ month by the end of the year.

Amway is such a huge brand, which makes personal, health, and home care products. Recently, Amway India reported that the home delivery business escalated 200% over the last six months, in response to which it is doing a great amount of investment in supply chain and logistic network. The company is going to invest INR 30 Cr for supply chain and automation to fuel its home delivery and logistic.

With surged demand for immunity and nutrition products during the Covid-19 outbreak, the company is boosting the production and supply of its health and immunity-building products. Amway India did a partnership with ITC to introduce an immunity booster beverage.

The Association of Surgeons of India has tied up with Amway India, it is intended to distribute Personal Hand Sanitizer Gel to Frontline workers all over Covid-19 designated hospital. As per ASI, Amway India has distributed over 12,00 units of Persona Hand Sanitizer Gel. The company team has covered 47 hospitals.

The company has given contribution Rs25 lakh to CMPRF and RS 1 Cr to the Pm-care fund to fight against the Coronavirus pandemic. Amway has donated Rs 5 lakh to the Meenakshi Mission Hospital & Research Centre. During this pandemic, people are expecting immunity booster beverage and home care products at their home. In such cases, Amway is fulfilling consumer’s demand by delivering all products at their door.

Amway India (Direct selling FMCG) is going to make investment an additional Rs 100 cr in the next two years for the future growth plan in the country. They believe that amid the pandemic, consumers like home deliveries. The company is working so hard to boost supply chain and home delivery servers to meet customers’ demands. The company is planning to deliver products the same day and online return services by the first quarter of a new year (2021). Lately, Amway India introduces protection gear for frontline workers. It has launched under the coronavirus Relief Programme. Protection gear includes PPE like gloves, gowns, shoe covers, head covers, masks, and eye protection gear. This PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) has been made with help of an NGO partner.

Although, competitive exams are surely vital, when it comes to the safety of young ones, the priority changes accordingly. Social distancing will be the common instruction heard, while at school Under following new norms, fist-bump, high-five, warm handshakes, and hugs will be no longer seen. The classroom of the future will have no personal greetings, and the sociability will no longer be seen. The class of tomorrow will go from social to asocial. Invisible walls will be build up between each one, reducing all the ways of fun, they had in campus life. NetEdge’s business model is resilient to any kind of risk as it has been developed over a period of time based on the experience gained by the Company in facing 3 recessions right from Dotcom bust to the Financial Crisis of 2008 and disruptions caused by Digital Technologies. NetEdge has always emphasized on products and services that added value to its clients’ businesses. We have continued with this strategy during the COVID-19 pandemic as well. We were helped by the robust and flexible IT infrastructure at NetEdge which allowed us to move majority of our employees to work from home within a very short time. This helped us to provide the same level of service to our clients without any disturbance. HOW DO YOU ALIGN YOUR COMPANY WITH YOUR VISION AND MISSION? We firmly believe that a company does not grow because of a single person but it flourishes well because its employees. Infrastructure contributes a lot to the development of a country. The development of the first bullet train in Korea created a great boost for the Korean economy and the situation was the same in Japan. China couldn’t have achieved this much economic growth and couldn’t have achieved the title of “the world’s factory” if it lacked infrastructure. If you have no roads, railroads, ports, or other infrastructure necessary to support transportation, then you can’t transport goods or people to where they are wanted or want to go. Infrastructure makes it easier to engage in economic activity. If you have no schools, it is harder to educate people in groups. You have to do it one on one. If you have no medical equipment or places to store and use medical equipment, it is harder to provide medical services. If you have no factories, it is harder to make the things people want. Without the infrastructure to make and transport the things people want, economic development is much harder. The more infrastructure that is already available, the easier it is to facilitate further economic activity. There is an increasing gap between the haves and have-nots. While in developed countries there is an excess of everything, under-developing countries lack even the basic infrastructure for its people and this is only reducing further their capacity to survive and compete with the rest of the world. HOW YOUR COMPANY’S WORK CULTURE IMPACTED YOUR GROWTH? We call Peritus a family. I must admit we run it less like a business and more like a family where irrespective of individual roles, we all are available to each other for any support be it professional, social, or emotional. The same principle also reflects when our team members are associated with our clients. We connect with them, with their problems, and commit ourselves beyond our contractual obligations. This brings practicality to our solutions and gives our clients unique confidence in our services. I agree, it’s quite involved in the beginning, but once you match your frequencies, it’s very rewarding.

HOW ARE YOU OVERCOMING THE PANDEMIC CHALLENGE? Except for a few logistical challenges, we haven’t faced any major challenge in our company due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Most of our projects are part of long-term development programs that are already funded and thus secured in terms of financial risks etc. We do face slight challenges when we need to engage outside agencies in our work, however, with the following measures, we have managed to keep the show going 1. Our teams in most affected areas are working from home and engaging with clients through online mediums. 2. We have changed our current focus on existing projects, dealing with our existing clients and technology partners. This reduces the need for many physical interactions and helps our operations run smoothly with our trusted partners. 3. Still, for any outside engagements, our teams are well equipped and empowered with the right resources to take all precautions needed while on work during these Covid-19.
