In simple words, we started with pharmaceutical raw intermediates and Nutraceutical raw materials. And now at this level, we have over 12 formulations of blends and premixes that are known as Vitamin Blends. Moreover, if we talk about the key motivation behind this whole journey, our prime goal was to bring a quality buying experience filled with technical knowledge to the pharmaceutical market. Initially, when we entered the market, we had to analyze and understand the market demands, mode of transactions, and promises that accompany such sales to make them a fruitful recurring business. Although we are stronger than our competitors as our team has doctoral level experience when finding solutions and strategies in technical and management domains, this gives us a competitive edge in the raw material market, which the traditional suppliers do not enjoy. EU AGREES TO MANDATE

USB TYPE-C CHARGER FOR ALL PHONES

by 2024: Will it impact Apple?

T

he EU has officially agreed to mandate USB Type-C chargers for all phones by 2024. This significant policy change will affect every electronics company, from Apple to Samsung, mainly because the new regulation forces phone makers to include fast-charging capabilities.

But does it matter for Apple? Yes and no. It’s not like Cupertino doesn’t sell a variety of charging accessories alongside their devices already. Still, the lack of a single connector across all its products could impact some in specific markets — those countries where people use power outlets with two coils instead of three (though this will only affect newer MacBooks). What do the EU’s new USB-C rules mean for the iPhone? The European Union’s legislators have agreed on new proposals that would require all smartphone, headphone, digital camera, and tablet manufacturers to use the same universal charging port: USB Type-C. The new rules are set to go into effect in the fall of 2024, and devices that currently charge via wired cable will be required to do so via a built-in USB-C port. The EU’s rules are only provisional for the time being, and they must be approved by the European Council and the European Parliament before they become official. This is expected to happen after the summer recess ends on September 1st. It will go into effect 20 days later, giving most manufacturers 24 months to comply, which is why the compliance date is set for fall 2024. Laptops are an exception, as high-wattage USB-C chargers are less standard than phone chargers. They’ll have 40 months instead, bringing us to the start of 2026. If the legislation passes its current form, Apple will be forced to switch from Lightning to USB-C in the EU, not just on the iPhone. All headphones, earbuds, wireless mice, and wireless keyboards would be required to use USB-C for wired charging, according to a press release from the European Council. This includes the AirPods Max, AirPods, Magic Mouse, and Magic Keyboard, all currently powered by Lightning.

WHAT IMPACT SHOULD THE NEW RULES HAVE?

As a result of the new rules, Apple would be required to include USB-C ports on its devices. Apple is the largest company to use

a custom charging port only available on select products, such as the iPhone series, which uses an Apple-designed lightning connector. In recent years, Apple, on the other hand, has been moving away from the lightning cable, and Apple has already released MacBooks and iPads with USB-C charging ports. By ‘autumn 2024,’ USB-C will be required on all phones sold in the EU. By the fall of 2024, legislators in the European Union will have agreed on legislation requiring all future smartphones sold in the EU — including Apple’s iPhone — to have the universal USB-C port for wired charging. Tablets, digital cameras, headphones, handheld video game consoles, and e-readers, among other electronic devices, will be subject to the rule. At some point in the future, laptops will be required to follow the law. The legislation must still be approved by the EU Parliament and Council later this year, but this appears to be a formality. The law will be in place “by autumn 2024,” The European Parliament, according to a press release, By this date, all devices sold in the EU that are subject to the law must support USB-C for wired charging.

CONCLUSION

If implemented, users in the European Union will have to use USB-C cables to connect their phones and other devices to power outlets. Of course, this means a price increase for all new devices sold in the EU, but it also demands Apple change its entire charging infrastructure — including wired headphones and keyboards. Apple is already moving away from Lightning by developing USB-C ports on newer MacBooks.
