Poppy's Toy Drive
Thanks to your partnership and matching gift, Inova raised over $400,000 in Year-End Fundraising in 2022. The campaign connects with donors by giving them an opportunity to rally around Poppy and match her allowance to support Inova’s toy drive, after she battled childhood cancer.

4,800 Toys provided to patients at Inova
Last December's campaign generated a lot of local buzz. Washington Nationals mascot, Screech, visited Inova to spread holiday cheer, and rally around Poppy and Inova.
Thanks to you, we can have more available resources to help premature babies like Savannah, whose life was saved at Inova. During 120 days in the NICU, she had blood transfusions, laser eye surgery, and expert, compassionate care.
Pediatric Patient financial assistance
Ms. Gutierrez was seeking a better future for her child diagnosed with Spastic Diplegic Cerebral Palsy, Developmental Delay and Seizure Disorder. When the young patient arrived, she urgently needed medical equipment to live a better life and be able to ambulate at home and in school. With your support, the patient received orthotics along with a gait trainer. Before receiving this equipment, she was only able to move independently by crawling. With the orthotics and gait trainer she has not only learned how to stand but is now also gaining the strength and confidence to take small steps!”
Last year your support was also used for:
Car repairs
Car payment
Lyft rides
Gift cards for food
insecurities
Utilities
Funerals
Cryobank for fertility preservation
Pack and plays
Car seats

Catherine, one of our art therapists, set-up a show to feature patient Halle's beautiful art in honor of the end of her treatment. It was a special event for both Halle and her caregivers and an opportunity to celebrate Halle and her spectacular art!
