INOVA SAVILLE CANCER SCREENING AND PREVENTION CENTER 2023 RESEARCH UPDATES

"Thanks to philanthropy, our clinical research efforts at the Saville Center are making significant advances in the fight against cancer. Because of you, we can pursue cutting-edge projects with the industry's leading experts and brightest minds."

In June 2023, Dr. Bobby Mahajan, Medical Director of Interventional Pulmonology represented Inova and the Saville Center at The White House for a convening of the Cancer Moonshot initiative. This event brought together physicians, government officials and industry to discuss ways to improve smoking cessation across the country.

We are proud Dr. Mahajan was chosen to share his expertise as part of this initiative, which has a goal to cut the cancer death rate by at least 50% within the next 25 years, and improve the lives of people living with cancer and cancer survivors.
