¿Cómo vivió las jornadas del Mallorca Golf

Open? Creo que todos disfrutamos mucho porque el clima ha sido perfecto, salvo en el último día en que sopló un poco de viento. Los jugadores pudieron sentirse a gusto y por eso el juego ha sido lucido en casi todas las partidas. También creo que ha sido una gran oportunidad para Son Muntaner, contar con un torneo de este prestigio, con jugadores profesionales, ha elevado el nivel del campo y de todas las instalaciones.

¿Qué distingue a Golf Son Muntaner respec-

to a otros campos? El ambiente y la localización. La naturaleza aquí es exuberante y las infraestructuras son únicas. Contar con dos hoteles de tanta categoría en el propio resort, así como estar a dos pasos del mar y la montaña, hace que Golf Son Muntaner sea un lugar realmente especial.

¿En qué se inspiró para diseñar el campo

hace 22 años? Para Golf Son Muntaner mi inspiración fue la naturaleza que lo rodea. A partir de este punto solucionamos el resto de cuestiones.

What was your experience of the Mallorca Golf

Open? I think we all had a great time because the weather was perfect, except on the last day when there was a bit of a wind blowing. The players were able to feel at ease and because of that play was clear-headed in nearly all the rounds. I also think it was a great opportunity for Son Muntaner; being the venue for such a prestigious tournament, with professional players, has elevated the level of the course and all the installations.

What distinguishes Golf Son Muntaner

from other courses? The atmosphere and the location. Nature is exuberant here, and the infrastructures are unique. Having two hotels of such a high category on the resort itself, and the fact that it is so close to the sea and the mountains, makes Golf Son Muntaner a truly special place.

Where did you draw inspiration from when

you designed the course 22 years ago? For Golf Son Muntaner, my inspiration was the nature that surrounds it. Starting out from this basis, we resolved all the other issues.

Wie haben Sie die Mallorca Golf Open

empfunden? Ich glaube, jeder hat dieses großartige Event genossen, denn das Wetter war perfekt, nur am letzten Tag war es ein bisschen windig. Die Spieler konnten das Turnier entspannt angehen und deshalb eine fast durchweg brillante Leistung zeigen. Außerdem glaube ich, dass die Veranstaltung eines so prestigeträchtigen Turniers mit Profispielern für Son Muntaner eine wunderbare Chance war, das Niveau des Platzes und seiner Einrichtungen zu steigern.

Worin unterscheidet sich Golf Son Mun-

taner von anderen Plätzen? In Bezug auf den Standort und die Umgebung. Golf Son Muntaner liegt inmitten üppiger Vegetation und verfügt über eine einzigartige Infrastruktur. Zwei Luxushotels auf der Anlage selbst sowie die unmittelbare Nähe zum Meer und zu den Bergen machen Golf Son Muntaner zu einem ganz besonderen Ort.

Woher nahmen Sie vor 22 Jahren die Ins-

piration für diesen Golfplatz? Im Fall von Golf Son Muntaner hat mich die Natur vor Ort inspiriert. Das war die Basis, die alles andere bestimmte.
