Location: George Hotel, Lviv

When: 2nd - 5th of July, 2015

Deadline of application: 26th of June, 2015 APPLICATION FORM Who we are: Centropa is a Vienna/Budapest/Washington-based Jewish historical institute that uses new technologies, multimedia films and exhibitions to tell the story of 20th century Jewish history in Europe. Our programs are much more about how Jews lived窶馬ot only how they perished during the Holocaust. In Ukraine, our team interviewed 292 Jewish Holocaust survivors, digitized 5,000 old family photographs, and now we are turning those stories into short films. You can find the interviews here: http://www.centropa.org/pictures-stories? type=biography&field_biography_country_tid=194#collapsed And the photos here: http://www.centropa.org/pictures-stories?type%5B %5D=photo&field_photo_country_now_n_tid=194#collapsed So far Centropa has made three short films about Jews from what is Ukraine today. Please note that these films are in English, Polish or Russian until now, but we are working on Ukrainian versions for our seminar in Lviv.窶ゥ
