Slow-Roasted Pork And Peppers
Ingredients:
3 lbs. boneless pork shoulder
6 bell peppers, halved and seeds removed
2 red onions, cut into 8 wedges each
2 tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
1 tbsp. red wine vinegar
Directions:
8 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp. oregano leaves
1 tbsp. fennel seed, chopped
Kosher salt
Freshly ground black pepper
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. In a small bowl, stir together the garlic, oregano leaves, fennel, 1 tbsp. salt, and ½ tsp. pepper. Place the pork, fat side up, on a rimmed baking sheet. Rub all over with the garlic mixture. Roast until fragrant and sizzling, 20 minutes. Reduce heat to 300 degrees and continue to roast for 1 hour. Remove the sheet from the oven and arrange the peppers and onions around the pork. Drizzle with oil and season with ½ tsp. each salt and pepper. Tuck oregano sprigs around the vegetables and return to oven. Roast until the vegetables and pork are very tender, 2-2½ hours more. Transfer pork to a board and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Arrange pork and vegetables on a platter, and drizzle with vinegar and any pan juices from the baking sheet

Grills and Smokers
Our Meco electric grills give you the outdoor grilling flavor you expect without all the hassle and mess of ordinary grills. How do you get that same outdoor flavor with an electric grill? The juices from the meat drip on a reflective panel and the smoke and heat combine to cook in that distinct outdoor barbecue flavor. The grills come complete with a rotisserie, a recipe book and a small price tag of $189.75, including tax. If you prefer the flavor of a juicy roast or chicken smoked over flavored wood chips, we also carry Meco electric smokers. These smokers have two nickel-plated cooking grids with handles for two-level cooking, a built in heat indicator, and a lift-off body for easy water and wood refill for only $99.93, including tax. Best of all the cost can be placed on your monthly power bill and spread over a period of up to 12 months. You won’t find a deal like this anywhere!
