HASSAN RAHMAT
EDITORIAL Cool and chill articles this week! Well, it’s been a while that we didn’t write any articles in insider magazine and it was because of the autumn break. Today we are here and we will share new things as usual. We are so happy because many people had joined the campus now and there are no more online studies at Xamk. We met new friends new nationalities and new cultures as well. It becomes colder and colder here in Kouvola and I’m raring to see the snow as soon as possible and it becomes darker as well. Honestly, I’m not used to this weather at all and I found it also a good opportunity to challenge myself again. By the way, now our articles will be on a paper version! This week it’s my turn for the editorial and as usual, I will give a little debrief about insiders’ articles this week. First of all, our friend Georgie will share with us a useful thing for students ” how to pay Kela?” Moreover, my article this week will be about my trip to Stockholm, Sweden, and how much I enjoyed my time there. And as always, we will have a movie review with Joonatan and our friend Quyen will share with us an article about Science Museums Heureka. So, I wish you all had a good start and you are now happy that you can meet your friends and make new ones as well! Have a nice weekend and see you next Friday !

TRAVELING Trip to Stockholm
Probably most of the students here in Finland want to discover new places, cities and why not new countries and one of the closest countries to Finland besides Estonia it's Sweden. This magnificent country that I'm pretty sure most of the people will fall in love with while visiting it. Honestly, traveling to Stockholm isn’t that much expensive especially if you plan to travel by cruise. You have many possibilities whether you go from Helsinki or Turku it depends on which the nearest city to you and obviously for us who live in Kouvola traveling from Helsinki is the best choice. Furthermore, you can choose which ships fit you the most. And concerning the prices, you can find sometimes one cabin with four beds and with a price of 26e for the round trip which is amazing. I have had the opportunity to visit Sweden several times and every trip was better than the other. Hopefully in Stockholm, Sweden everything is so close you can go by walking to the old town for example or the city center and you can even visit the royal palace. You should know that their currency is Krona so if you're planning to pay with cash don't forget to change the euro to Krona. Moreover, I found that Stockholm is a tourist city and it's so crowded with people from all over the world. I remember that once I went there on Sunday and it was full of people while here in Finland on Sundays everything closed which is quite weird because people are more interested to hang out during the weekend than the weekdays. In addition to that, believe me, you won't even feel bored during your vacation while going on the cruise you will have the opportunity to participate in many activities and you can do shopping go to bars, nightclubs... Then who said that sleeping in the middle of nowhere isn't that much exciting?! You will arrive then in Sweden the next day in the morning and you will have at least 6 hours to discover the city before you come back to Finland and believe me that these 6 4

hours are sufficient! One of the Swedish fast food that you have to try is Max it's slightly like Hesburger and it tastes so good! I have visited the Swedish Parliament and it was a good experience as well! You can google the website of Silja Line or Viking Line and choose the trip that match you the most! Have a nice weekend! FUN
Heureka Science Museum Hello everyone, how was your autumn break? Mine was fabulous, I went to so many places, and there is one place that I love the most which is Heureka, Science Museum located at Vantaa. From the outside, Heureka have a unique architecture and the fancy color of white. It costed 15 euro to get in as a student, so take your chance, you won’t regret it. Inside, it is gorgeous and good for us to gain much information about human body, woods, physics, power, riddle, …
there with your own drawing for FREEEEE! Unfortunately, I didn’t take enough pictures to show you all, just because I was mind-blown by it. But also, I want to encourage you to come to Heureka and witness it yourselves. In addition, they also have a fancy-ish restaurant and a souvenir shop with many fun toys and model. Nonetheless, Heureka truly is a place for a physics lover like me, I spent an hour in the physics room, they have experiment and explanation, and it uses in the real-life world. Honestly, I looked like a kid running around that room with my mouth open. And my god, how can I forgot about this, it also has its own planetarium, you can learn a lot about planets and space. And who love space? ME! I absolutely loving it. So, what about you, will you go to Heureka? Or have you gone to other bizarre places in this autumn break? Bonus: You can make a coin with your face on it! And also FREEEE! Text by Quyen Huynh Photos by Quyen Huynh
There are four rooms, or I assume so. The first one is about human biological system, fun place with many lessons from our own body, bacteria in your guts, how things function in your body. Next is the room full of woods and you can also make your own wood keychain

SOCIAL
How to pay to Kela? information you will find on Kela’s website. However, it might work worse if you came from Russia or from the same type of financial system where you have to prove all transactions abroad to the financial control. We asked one student who faced this problem how has he dealt with it: On the 3rd of November absolutely all students came back to campus and started their contact learning with their teachers and mates. I am sure, everyone have been waiting for it so long, however, with start of studying, students should make some other steps to follow rules of Finnish law and inside this article you will find answer on question “How to pay for students health insurance Kela? ”. The way, how you will pay for Kela mainly depends on where do you come from and how much you have already lived in Finland. The first option is for Finnish citizens and students who have already received Finnish ID and made a Personal Bank Account. For this category of people it is really easy to find all details of Kela’s bank account on their website kela.fi and by using your personal application or account on website you can create a payment in 5-10 minutes what is so comfortable. The second group consists of the first-year students, exchange students and all others who didn’t make a bank account. To pay for Kela you need to contact bank in your country or use your bank app in category “international transactions” or something similar to this. You also need to put all details of service’s bank account, but here you need to attach your personal details such as name, surname, personal identity code etc., all other 6
• What was the main problem? • To confirm this payment Russian Financial Control needed some letter from Kela or invoice to show that I really need to pay for insurance, but not just withdraw money abroad. • Why didn’t they give you invoice or letter? • In office they can’t give you anything extra, they can only consult you. • So, how have you finally paid for it? • In my group we have some Finns with their Bank Accounts and one day I just asked if they can pay for me online and I could give them this amount buy cash and it worked! Find who do you belong to and pay for Kela without any problems!

The French Dispatch The French Dispatch is a comedy anthology film directed by Wes Anderson. It’s stars way too many great actors to list here, but it includes Timothée Chalamet (Dune), Bill Murray (Ghostbusters) and Léa Seydoux (No Time to Die). The story is rather simple, the editor-in-chief for a newspaper called The French Dispatch dies and according to his will the newspaper will release one more issue featuring articles from past issues which are detailed heavily throughout the movie. Before anything I need to emphasize that this is a Wes Anderson movie. Which means that if you’ve seen The Grand Budapest Hotel, you’ll know that most of this movie is shot in 4:3 aspect ratio for a good reason. Wes Anderson is a master at scene composition and directing shots that it was almost a joy to watch this movie. The way each scene was shot was amazing and the comedic timing to many of them even more amazing. Basically, I’m saying that this is another good Wes Anderson film. The writing is fantastic and at the same time extremely confusing and that’s fine in this case because movie is set up that way. It’s showing dramatization of articles which are usually paced in a way that it’s read to the audience like a book or a speech. It was great, I loved the stories, the writing was complimented heavily with the great casting choices and returning actors like Owen Wilson and Adrien Brody from previous Anderson movies, so you get the same exact “feel” you usually do when watching these movies. The sound design and music are great and helps immensely with the visuals of the movie. The movie has a heavy use of black and white to describe past situations but at certain situations of colours are used with music to emphasize scene. I tried to stay off the plot of the movie as much as possible during this review because the amount of stuff I could fit into a roughly 350 word article wouldn’t even be enough of how strange and fun it is. I wholeheartedly recommend this movie!
