he craving for personal space has inspired many homeowners to forsake their cookie-cut interior structures of their faceless executive condominium units for something that shows a little character. Moving into this new home, would mark a new chapter in the lives of newly

weds, Clara Lim and Mark Lin. Upon recommendation from a family friend, they promptly commissioned the design team at Inside Story to craft their new home. The couple’s wish list was indeed long. They wanted a home that is open, with modern structures and fuss-free design. Then there was the issue of the home office and the kitchen. The couple
did not like the unit’s existing kitchen at all and wanted a total overhaul. The renovated apartment looks deceptively simple, given the demands of the project. As the kitchen is located at the front of the apartment, adjacent to the front door, glass sliding doors are used to separate the spaces and also brighten the dim and narrow hallway.
