The Solihull headquartered housebuilder also took the top prizes in the coveted Best Medium Housebuilder category, and for Best Public Realm for its Hayfield Green development in the West Oxfordshire village of Stanton Harcourt. Furthermore, Hayfield Wood in the Wiltshire village of Broad Blunsdon scooped the Bronze award for Best Interior Design. The event – dubbed ‘The Oscars of the Housebuilding Industry’ – is now in its 41st year. The sold-out awards ceremony, held at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House hotel in London, was attended by over 1,500 industry peers. Sports presenter Claire Balding OBE hosted the event, alongside highly decorated Olympian Sir Chris Hoy MBE. Founded in 2016, Hayfield specialises in building high-specification family houses for eco-aware customers. It has eight live sites in prime locations within Oxfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire and Wiltshire. Hayfield is on track to increase its turnover to £150m during 2022. The team is preparing to start on site at its 14th development and has more than 400 homes in its immediate production. 22
It has a further 400 homes with planning status, and over 1,000 additional plots that are advancing through the planning system.
