The sections shown replace or change those of the same name in Your Policy, Statement of Insurance or any previously issued endorsements. This is an important document which should be read in conjunction with Your Policy documents and kept with them.

The following are included exclusively for: Agape Changes to your cover General conditions and general exclusions apply to the whole of the Policy and all levels of cover.

You have additional cover under: Standard sports and activities: Caring, nursing and working in a hospital environment including the administering of drugs or medicine. There is no cover under section 7 - Personal Liability for these activities. This type of work must be organised by a professional organisation operating from the United Kingdom. These conditions must be complied with to benefit from the full protection of Your policy.

Section 2 – emergency medical and other expenses: Exposure to Biological Fluids What is covered We will pay You up to £5,000 if during the Period of Insurance You are exposed to biological fluids in respect of reasonable travel and accommodation costs to enable You to receive treatment and return to complete Your Trip. In the event You elect to continue Your Trip following exposure to biological fluids We will pay the costs of couriering post exposure measures to You. What is not covered The cost of the continuation of any treatment or medication which commenced prior to the start of the Trip.

Any conditions, limitations and exclusions under Section 2 – emergency medical and other expenses apply to this endorsement.

Section 4 – personal accident: Needle Stick (HIV compensation) What is covered In the event You are involved in an accident which as a result of a needle injury You are infected with Human Immune Deficiency Virus (HIV) We will pay £10,000 provided that You undergo a blood test within five days of the injury occurring which concludes the absence of HIV or antibodies to such a virus and a follow up blood test within twelve months indicates the presence of HIV or antibodies to such a virus.

Any conditions, limitations and exclusions under Section 4 – personal accident apply to this endorsement.

Section 5 – baggage: Medical Equipment

What is covered We will pay You up to £2,000 for the value or repair of Your own medical equipment (not hired, loaned, or entrusted to You) which is accidentally lost, stolen or damage during the Trip, limited to £500 for any one article, pair or set of articles. The amount payable will be the value at today’s prices less a deduction for wear tear and depreciation, (or We may at Our option replace, reinstate or repair the lost or damaged equipment).

What is not covered The definition under Baggage is extended to include Your own medical equipment (not hired, loaned, or entrusted to You).

Any conditions, limitations and exclusions under Section 5 – baggage apply to this endorsement.

Payment for this change to your policy There is no additional premium for this change.
