Making Sense of Devondale branding

Refreshing the Devondale logo has simplified it into a strong, modern mark. The typeface chosen ensures a robust, solid feel with character. By incorporating a warmer green with the present dark green we bring a more inviting, friendlier element to Devondale. The logo can sit by itself when needed or sit with the Devondale name followed by a localised section of the brand (i.e Devondale lighting, Devondale Barnstaple). This not only makes the brand incredibly flexible, it also makes it more personal to customers. By using the shape containing â&#x20AC;&#x2DC;DEDâ&#x20AC;&#x2122; we are able to create very modern, fresh and dynamic graphics. These work extremely well sat with the logo, or on their own to thread the branding throughout Devondale collateral.

1. The DED and Devondale of the logo are constants throughout the brand, though we can then use the following area to localise the brandÂ departmentally or locationally.

2. The Devondale name always has the greatest standout.

1. BUSINESS CARDS Localising the Devondale brand means that the stores feel very local to customers. Employee business cards are a great way to emphasise this.

2. LETTER HEADS Within the logo â&#x20AC;&#x2DC;DEDâ&#x20AC;&#x2122; has a great container shape, which we have used to thread the branding throughout collateral. The rounded lines can be used to house headings or as dynamic, directional shapes, always pointing forwards or upwards - in a positive direction.
