Making Sense Turtle Box Logo Refinement

route one - colour

On the following pages I have presented a number of options that play with the balance of typography within the turtle box brand to create the right feel using variety and balance. To the right you will see how we have used a variety of colour to change the hierarchy of the typography. Option 1a is the original brand while 1b & 1c have used a much lighter “Market”. The end result is that this increases the importance of the words “Turtle Box” in the context of the branding.

route two - size

Here we have played with sizing to adjust the hierarchy of the typography. Option 2a is the original size, while with 2b & 2c we have progressively decreased the font size of “Market”. As the font size of “Market” decreases, the font size for “Turtle Box” increases to maintain a balanced logo.

route one - both

Here we have used a combination of size & colour to try to create the right balance and feel. Option 3a is the original branding for reference while 3b & 4c are progressively smaller and lighter.

Our Preferred Option While all options work well our preference is option 3b that combines both a variation in colour & size. We feel this creates the right balance of typography within the branding.
