Headteacher’s Welcome

01 | HEADTEACHER’S WELCOME

I am extremely proud to be the founding Headteacher of King’s College School. Our school is the only school in the region that is part of the leading global group of premium schools, and brings with it a distinguished history of more than 50 years of academic excellence from the King’s College School group. By choosing to join our vibrant community, your child will develop a joy for learning. We will inspire their curiosity, offer them limitless opportunities, and individually nurture and encourage each one of our learners. Our objective is to support them to fulfil their ambitious potential, both inside and outside of the classroom, to enable them to flourish and develop the confidence to embrace their individuality. Our philosophy of excellence in education revolves around Inspired’s three pillars – Academics, Sport and Performing & Creative Arts – all equally important. The blended approach of the Cambridge International curriculum with the International Baccalaureate, combined with our three pillars, ensures that we develop confident, tenacious and passionate students who thrive in the world around them – and understand the world at large. I have high expectations for the academic outcomes of all our students, who will continue their education at some of the top universities, art colleges, drama and music schools and follow successful career pathways around the world. The quality of the teaching and facilities at King’s College School, The Bahamas will offer students the most exciting education, and will equip them well to become successful citizens of the world.

I look forward to welcoming you to King’s College School so that you may discover the experience and opportunities we can provide your child.
