The school day

A typical day at King’s College School will begin at 8:30am and end at 3:30pm, with a slightly shorter day for younger students and extending until 4:15pm for Senior students in Years 7 – 13. Younger learners will have one break in the morning and lunchtime, while older students will have a break before and another after lunchtime.

Food and nutrition

The school will provide healthy balanced meals using natural ingredients. A healthy diet will be promoted through Personal Social Health Education (PSHE) lessons. The school will accommodate special diets on request.

Learning languages

At King´s College School, The Bahamas, we regard foreign language acquisition as being of key importance for internationally minded children and families. Therefore, in addition to opportunities within the curriculum for French and Spanish languages, children can receive additional tutoring after-school in French and Spanish to accelerate their learning of these essential world languages. These extra classes will be delivered by fully qualified teachers of French and Spanish.
