Knots The very first experiment was a quick test with tape, to see how the plastic reacted when inflated. The points where the tape was, folded the plastic together and made the surface less transparent.
Intersection The space inside the shorter tube is ‘outside’ the inflated form while there is a space inside the main tube. The form
is only inflatable from the bottom and the air is therefore connected in the intersection.
Intersection with a circulation The main tube from the previous model is changed to a circle to make a circulated course. The circle has a inner outdoor space which has an entrance through the smaller tube. The effect is that you
squeeze trough the small tube to get to the inner space and people can walk around that space inside the circle.
WEDNESDAY Entraction The present piece is an experimental structure challenging the interaction between a body and an opening. Two hidden slots are apart of the inflatable plastic structure. The structure is divided into several sequences, which being inflated disguise the apertures. Being placed in a door/passage, the structure will provoke one to use his/her intuition and will activate sences in order to allow a person to pass through. The two openings are different in their characteristics: the first is designed to force a person to crawl through the structure, while the second forces one to take a broader step, than one is used to. The openings can be elaborated and adjusted to the intentions, needs, height and age. The structure distorts one’s perception of a regular door/opening/passage. It is transparent though dense. It has an appearence of a wall and still can be passed through and it makes the interactor consider it.

Instant Aarhus, Group 5+6 Originally the site plan was meant for a direct alley from the main space to the slightly more private. We discussed the importance of the meet between individuals and how this could unite the residence of the space. This proposed for a slight change in the sequence from the public space to the private. Therefore a dome was introduced which you enter at the midway point. This allows for a public meeting between the individual unities. Secondly you are introduced to four separate exits, which hold separate disjunctions. Our idea is to unify individuals in a large main space then leading out to separate areas, where you can enter other neighbourhoods.
