The Idea.
The idea is to give a feeling of being surrounded of the constuction, when you are moving into it. And when you have found the way in, you have a lot of space in the room inside. You can drag down the constuction to get out or have a look out.
The material.
The material is light in weight, and it can stand by itself, without any bearing construction. It is easy to form and in that way also easy to change in to the form you want. that makes a lot of possibilities.
The process.
We talked about how it could relate to the body, by standing on it, going into it, or walking around it. Quicky we got the idea that we wanted to walk on our constuction and make it fload up around your body, and in that way be inside of it, but still have a look to the outside.
The process.
A picture session of how to enter the contruction (a prototype, where the hand is a human body).
The prototype - changes.
We have discussed the shape of the prototypes a lot, to find the best shape to get in and out easy. Also the height and the length of the construction, to find out how it should be and fell like to be in there.
The top.
We have made the top of the constuktion in a size that a human body can enter through it, or reach out and pull it down over the head to use it as a window out.
The parts.
The connectings between the other constructions is placed between two parts of the whole structure. There is made space to the foldings (8 cm. on each side).
The construction.
This is the idea of how thw constuktion will end up.
